Good Morning Thursday

Postby JanB » 10 Sep 2020, 06:13

Morning everyone

Misty in the distance, but going to be another warm day. It's what we like about living here, rather than the Algarve. Cooler nights.

I'll have a wander around the garden later, feeding all the plants, then once breakfast is out of the way, I'll load the car with the recycling, dump that lot and then off to a nurse's appointment. Normal stuff, weight, bp and then my check-up.

Will stop at Pingo on the way back and load up with jars and paper stuff, then drop into see Jan, who has one of her sisters staying, then back home for a cool off

Hope E and Jen had better night's sleep xx and the tests show what the problem was.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Jan and all.

It’s dull here. I’m waiting for John to get up so we can walk Bill. Tom’s already gone to work so I’ve stripped his bed and that’s in the wash. I think the only plan for today is to plant the bushes we bought yesterday.

Hope the appointment goes well Jan x

Fingers crossed for news about E, Jen x

Have a good day all :D

Good morning you two!
It is a proper autumn morning here. A definite nip in the air and some of the trees are turning now. Good luck with the appointment Jan and hopefully E and Jen had a good night's sleep. Not much on here either Jo. MrsC had to be up at our daughter's for 7.30 looking after Eliza so I'm home alone.
It was nice to see the schoolkids going to school yesterday morning, a reminder of some sort of normalcy.
I need to pick the prescriptions up today but that's about it.
Have a good day all.

Morning Crommers! Yes, I’ve noticed that the leaves are turning on some and the ferns are all dying back in the woods now. The nights are definitely drawing in too, I’ve had to start taking my torch out on evening walks.
Looks like Summer temperatures are on the way back though!

Morning all :)

Hope the check-in goes well Jan :) xxx

Jo it's still summer here, but then we're at Kevin's furthest point south here 8-) xxx

Have a good one Crommers :) xxx

Hoping the news about E will be good xxx

It's blue sky all the way here this morning, not a cloud to be seen 8-) We're about to wander down the hill to the terrace of the South Sands hotel, have a coffee and watch the sea. We then plan to walk over the next hill to North Sands to The Winking Prawn, a beach restaurant recommended by a Pilates friend of mine. It looked ok when we walked past the other day 8-) :D Happy Days........

Have a good day everyone, love to all xxxxx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Good luck with the nurse's appointment Jan.

E had a good night, I had a little chat with him just before his brekkie arrived. Xrays this morning and, providing the machine's free, his echo this afternoon. Proper update on the health board.

I had a good night too, managed 8 hours. Nothing planned, just general pottering and house stuff.

Hope you all have a good day, thanks for thinking of us xx

Good morning all (well just)

a busy morning today - up usual time then to the allotment by 7.30 to pick what I could of the green tomatoes. I'll be heading there this evening again to pull up all the tomato plants and bin them. So so many tomatoes lost to blight, I could cry :( It's really hit the allotments hard this year and a lot of people have lost entire crops

Jen, glad you had a good nights sleep - the world is always a much better place when that happens. Fingers crossed that all the tests happen asap and you have answers.

About to jump onto a work conference call so going to make this a quick hi; hope everyone is well?

x

That’s a shame Ria, my Mom was just saying that their tomatoes haven’t done very well this year either. They usually have a huge amount too.
