Good Morning Friday

Postby JanB » 11 Sep 2020, 07:10

Morning everyone

Little cloudy this morning but still going to be a warm day 8-)

Watering done and Grumpy is going to vacuum the pool, once he's had his coffee, I have the cleaning to be done.

Normally, I'd do half today and half tomorrow, but we have visitors this afternoon, so will have to do the lot this morning   Also need to do the curry for tomorrow, should have done it yesterday, but it was a long and hot day :cute:

Hope you get some results soon Jen xx and you both had a good night x

Hope Osc is having a lovely time too xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Jan, morning everyone

A dull and nippy start to the day and not quite sure it's going to warm up much at all :(

10am vet appointment this morning, then office call at 2.30pm. I'd like to head into town at some point but not sure I'll get there today. Definitely don't want to go over the weekend though. Then this evening off to Karl and Nadine to have birthday dinner for Amelia; she's asked for steak. Tomorrow she has two friends coming for an early dinner; they're doing a raclette.

Continues vibes for E and hope they get various results asap

Have a lovely day everyone x

Good morning, it’s grey and quite cool here.

Today we start painting the home office. John’s just started putting the first coat on the ceiling....and there’s stuff piled up everywhere again  I moved most of things out yesterday and put it all up in the spare room but while I was doing jobs in the kitchen he’s piled the equipment in the living room and some bits on the middle floor landing. I’m so fed up of having the house in a mess and having stuff in the way, this is the third weekend of decorating in the last month

I’m waiting to see if a parcel arrives today. It was despatched yesterday on a two day delivery but is apparently already at the local Hermes depot so I’m waiting to see if it gets passed onto the courier this morning for delivery. Who knows!?

Happy Birthday to Amelia. Ria, I had to Google ‘raclette’, that’s a new one on me

Have a nice time with your visitors, Jan x

Have a good day all :D

Morning all, we’re home from the first stage of our staycation. Had a lovely relaxing time in Carlingford, now getting ready to head to Wicklow on Sunday. It’s dull and cool here today. I’m off to the gym at 12.30, then coffee and chat with the ladies afterwards. We’ll eat in the pub next door tonight.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny, but a bit cloudy.

E had a good night thanks. He was told earlier they're hoping to get a slot for the angiogram this afternoon, but were trying to get hold of Mr.P to check he's okay to have the meds needed. Apparently if it does go ahead today it will be done at the Royal Free in Hampstead so he'll need transport there and back. Didn't expect him to be doing a tour of London hospitals. Still no news so it's wait and see........

Nothing much planned here, got some washing on the go, received a parcel from Boots and it's Sainsburys this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all :)

Fingers crossed that all goes as planned today for E Jen xx

Morning Saundra :( xx

Jo, I don't know what it is either   xx

Happy birthday to Amelia, Ria :) xx

Enjoy your visitors Jan :) xx

Glad you enjoyed your days away Osc 8-) :) xx

Well today is our last day, and what a terrific relaxing time we've had, I would come back here again in a heartbeat 8-) We don't have to vacate the apartment until 10am tomorrow, but we've decided to drive back tonight to avoid the Saturday traffic on the M5 around Bristol :cute:

So we've packed up the car and are currently watching the sea, with a cuppa, on the terrace of the hotel by the beach. We'll drive into Salcombe for lunch, park in the car park there and lose ourselves for the afternoon 8-) Then drop off the keys at the office in town, and make our way home. This has been one of our best ever UK breaks, for sure.

Have a good day everyone :) xxx
