Glad you're having some decent weather Gal
That was a long afternoon
Left just before 2.00. coffee at the bar and off to Beja. Its quite a pleasant drive. through some lovely, flat Alentejana countryside. Got home at almost 6.30
Got to the Clinica de Dia, only to be told that he has to go in on his own
He's not good on the hearing side of it, so tried to get in, but was told no.
What amazed me, with all the new infections we have here, no temperature check
There was, apparently, a self helping thing, take your temperature, write your name
Of course, no one did it. An although the waiting room had fewer chairs, no-one was checking to see how close they were.
I had the pleasure of staying outside, in the sun. Until a couple of women went inside, so I had a chair, in the shade.
His appointment was for 3.30, we got there at 3.15. He got out at 4.45
And he was with the doc for about 10 minutes. Just quick listen to his lungs and back, all okay. I'll see you next year
Stopped at Lidl in Beja on the way back and they have a traffic light system, which I completely ignored, not knowing any better
But they let me off and I was allowed in, once another person had come out.
We had thought of a beer at the bar, but that rather unpleasant woman was the only person there, so we came home instead.
Had our first beer for almost two weeks, very pleasant, but burpy
