I use my elbow when the design allows.... ;) The dispensers in the Quays are automatic, you just put your hands underneath and the stuff comes out.

but after you press the top, you then clean your hands including where you have just touched so it doesn't matter

No problem with that, Ossie, but I am still not convinced.

They might have sanitised but I see people fiddling with their masks, wearing them under their nose, touching all sorts of things....

I have a spray in my car and sanitise before I touch anything and it is still wet on my hands as I select gear, release the handbrake and then run my hands round the steering wheel before driving off. When home I do "Happy Birthday".

Thing is, the perfect way is not known, we all do our best.... well, most of us.

Same as me WM :)

In Tesco yesterday (unusual for me) I was pleasantly surprised by their handwash machines. Stick your hands under the machine, soap comes out followed by water, soon after the air dryer gets to work - you actually touch nothing at all.
