Oh that does sound so much better Jen - hopefully with some decent rest and a good consultant, E will whizz back to you in no time! :D :D

It's sunny here now after a very cloudy and cold start. We went for a walk round the riverbanks in town this morning, stopping off at Secret Garden outdoor cafe for a scone and a flat white...home to chill and hang out the towels I washed last night. D and the kids called to stand in the garden 2m apart for a chat  Hard not to be able to cuddle the kids, but at least we've seen them.

I've just made a couple more cotton face coverings to wear, I nick the stiffener and elastic from the disposable ones we have at work as I prefer the nose bit to be snug, but only had enough for one. I'll get more tomorrow, as I'm back to work after my weeks' holiday

Enjoy the evening x

Glad to read things are going better for E, Jen.

We've been chopping Bramley apples, green tomatoes and dates this afternoon in advance of tomorrow's chutney preparation. Chutney making is a bit of an experiment for Mrs O so we'll see how it goes. Don' ask me, though, I only work 'ere ....

Chutney is pretty easy Ossie, and well worth the prep time :D Scrumptious :D

Aw thanks Kaz - Tom took it on my birthday in July, we'd just had lunch and didn't know when we'd see each other next - Jen isn't really a hugger so this alone merited a pic, plus the fact it lasted AGES!!! 8-) 8-) :D :D
