Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 30 Sep 2020, 05:43

Good morning.

Forecast 31 degrees.

Walk first ending up at the hairdresser for 10am.

Back for a swim then get ready to go to los patios where a new Chino bazaar has opened and we've been told it's enormous. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

We seem to be having cloudy starts to each day, then they disappear about mid morning and we then have bright blue sky, sunshine and lovely warmth 8-) But I think this will be the last of it, cooler weather on it's way by the week-end.

Off to Ourique this morning, to spend yet more money   Need winteriser for the pool, something or other in the drogaria and then the dreaded Pingo as well as the chemist, to stock up on the meds.

I've also got some stuff to sort out with one of our investments. It went belly up a few years ago and it looks like they're going to be paying out small amounts, so need to get my letter of to them pronto.

Hope E had a good night and is home soon xx

How's work going Ally? Many changes this year?

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Ally and Jan. Yes, get the cash sorted Jan! Bank accounts over here are paying virtually nothing in interest. Enjoy your sunshine Ally.
Wish we had some, it's very grey here atm and not overly warm.
Eliza is here and me and MrsC have the flu jab at 2 pm. I didn't want it but anything for a quiet life.
We need a bit of shopping and then it is bread baking this afternoon.
Have a good day all.

I forgot to take the books back to the library

But have managed to get some fantastic stain remover - it smells awful, but shifts everything, so that's a few of my clothes in the wash now - I'm the worlds worst and spilling things over me

Got everything on the list - for a change, I normally forget at least one thing

Not sure when we can get our flu jabs, but it's essential for Grumpy.

Morning all :D

Nice and bright today, wonder if it will last.

Sorry I didn't get in here yesterday, wasn't having a good day. E's CT results came back and it shows a small shadow on the lung so they've doubled his blood thinners. The doctor's been to have a word this morning, the knee culture is showing infection which is no surprise, the microbiology team are on it and will advise if different meds are needed. He's due to have an MRi sometime today, fingers crossed for a good result. Today is day 1 of week 5, it just seems to be one thing after another, goodness know when he'll be able to come home :(

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it’s fairly dull here with rain and strong winds forecast for later. Been doing bits and pieces including doing a bit of a tidy up in the attic, and more summer clothes put away. I have a 4pm appointment at the hairdresser for cut and colour, Edward has just come back from having his cut. Sorry things are not more positive for you and E, Jen, I also thought it was about 3 weeks. I can only imagine how lonely it is for you, sending hugs ((((((Jen))))))
