She should be, but is getting sent round in circles The chemists say no supplies, and the best the GP can offer is an appointment at their other surgery in Highnam, which she might well have to go for
It’s a shambles Kaz. We picked my Mom up the other Saturday and took her for her jab at the surgery on our estate. They’ve been opening and running the over 65s clinics on Saturdays and Sundays for the last four weekends. If she was out of the car for two minutes that was it! It was working like a very well oiled machine.
I’d booked mine at Tesco but they were saying that they like you to hang around afterwards in case there’s a reaction, the appointment was for 20 minutes. I called the GPS and they’re starting the under 65s clinics on the 17th so I’ve booked in with them instead and cancelled Tesco. I’d rather be straight in and out.
Same at my surgery, Jo. I got the text to attend at 15:15 on the day. Tapped in my details and was just sanitising my hands when I was called in. Got the jab and was out - two mins max. One queue for jabs, another for the "ill" patients.
Got my flu jab last week, under protest. Went to the surgery in the next village and queued for two minutes before getting the flu jab in one arm and the pneumonia jab in the other. As easy as that.
