Good Morning Monday

Postby JanB » 12 Oct 2020, 06:21

Morning everyone

Stunning sunrise this morning :Hi: and should be a warm ish day. Think this is the end of our warm days, we're heading for cooler nights too - down to single figures

No washing today, as the gas man cometh - sometime or other and I have to take the washing line down, otherwise he drives straight through it

We'll both be out in the garden, chopping up those tufts later. I intend to wear gloves and try a different chopper, maybe that will help.

Other than that, not a lot. We need to get down to Jan's at some stage this week, will ring her later, to find out when it's convenient.

Hope the birthday girl had a great day yesterday :D and E is continuing to improve xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning JanB and everybody else who is up.
Got up at 6.30 a.m so that I could park the car outside our house. The builders are still working on the house next door. Some days there have been four vans
with one outside our house making it difficult to get our car off the drive. They came yesterday morning and started work at 8.00 a.m.

Cloudy but no rain yet. Going to the bank to pay a cheque in, then some shopping.
Then just pootling.
Have a good day everybody

Morning all :D

Dry but dull here.

Nothing much happening, apart from a Tesco delivery this afternoon, I'll just be pottering.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good morning, it’s raining here now.

It’s not noon yet and I’ve already walked over 8 miles. I walked Bill first thing and took him for an extra long one seeing as rain was forecast for later, came home and got changed and then walked to town. Went to Home Bargains to stock up on Bill’s biscuits and treats in case we get stuck in again, treated myself to a couple of their large Yankee-sized jar candles (which I much regretted as I walked home) and collected John’s glasses from Specsavers (my main reason for going) and then walked home. Back in the good old days I’d have got the bus home if I had heavy shopping and a couple of weeks ago I was thinking that it might be okay to start catching one when the weather turned (I don’t go shopping very often where I’d need to do so) but it was in the local paper the other day that several staff members at the bus depot have tested positive so it’s best to still give the buses a swerve I think!

Have a good day all :D

Afternoon all, it’s a bright breezy autumn day here and I had a lovely walk this morning. My tee shirt for Sunday’s Great Pink Run arrived, it looks huge, but as I’ll probably be wearing it over a hoody, it should be fine. Edward went to play golf but he’s back now. I had a few things to do .... there’s snooker on..........might take out the knitting ;)

Evening all. Used the breadmaker today but with a bread mix. Not too successful, the loaf was huge!
I'll have another stab soon.
Hope you have all had good days.

I suppose it’s a matter of trial and error until you find the right recipe?
