Good Morning Monday

Morning everyone

Sunny but blowy this morning and waiting for the rain 8-)

Lovely lie-in this morning, we're just about up to date with everything, apart from those clumps of grass  so just couldn't be bothered to get up early ;)

We'll pop down to our nice neighbours house sometime today, to shut some of the windows, and just check the house out. Also need to put the pool pump on for a couple of hours.

Then, I suppose it's attacking more of those clumps

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Jan, you are a good neighbour. Steve the painter has come to do our bedroom. He should have been here last February or March but then we had the lockdowwn.
Not a bad morning here. We need to get some cash out to pay Steve tomorrow and MrsC is going to playgroup to pick Eliza up later. Apart from that a quiet day.
We had to move the mattress off our bed to make it easier for Steve to get around the bedroom / move the bed etc. Honestly, that thing will be the death of me - it weighs a ton.
Have a good day all.

Morning Jan and Crommers, morning everyone

Jan, hope you get the rain and manage to do the few things you need to do and can then relax.
Crommers, know what you mean about the weight of the mattress; mine is quite heavy as well and it's a bit of a job whenever I have to turn it. Not helped by the fact that my bedroom is tiny and there really isn't much room to flip it.

A cold but dry morning here; not sunny but not overcast if that makes sense - it's a bright grey sky with the sun trying to poke through giving the garden that lovely autumnal pale yellow glow. Did college drop off for Thomas this morning - half way there (it's a lovely drive through lots of forest areas) he just looks at me and says: Am I the only one that thinks that this time of year is just so beautiful with all the trees changing colour?" And here's me thinking he's got his head stuck in his tech ;) he's such an amazing young man, he really is

Usual work day for me, but will take my neighbour to Pets at Home at some point. She's got a new puppy and is looking for something suitable for the little one to chew on as she's in the process of chewing the house apart. She's such a dinky tiny little thing - so cute.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Our mattress weighs a ton too, if it landed on me I'd never get up again

Just had a pressure cushion for E delivered, the District Nurse arranged it, better late than never. Tesco and Boots delivering this afternoon and that's our excitement for the day.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon all, it’s dull and breezy here.

I’d done my 10000 steps by 9 - I walked Bill and then went for a run around the village. The washing’s blowing around on the line and I’m about to do the hoovering. There’s some ironing to do too.

I’m going to make the most of the quiet house this week. Half term next week so Tom will be home and Joe’s booked the week off work too. It’ll be just like the old days

Ria, some of the Kong toys help take their mind off chewing, and there are treat puzzles on Amazon which may occupy the pup.

Have a good day all.

Afternoon everyone :)

Typical Monday here, lunch with Em in town, then shopping. B joined us again today, but shot off early to see friends. They were going to walk the dogs on Alney Island, down by the river. Pepper, Fraggle, and her friend's Tibetan Terrier, Oscar, a grand name for a little fluffball :P Em and I mooched round Debenhams and Primark, picking up a few stocking fillers for Christmas ;)

Jo, that's an impressive step count 8-) :D xxx

Our mattress also weighs a ton, being memory form, and rarely gets turned :?  xxx

Ria I would also recommend the kong toys as they take intelligence to work out, it distracts them and keeps them busy 8-) xxx

Love to all xxx

Evening all, late on parade today  I was up early for a 10.15am consultant appointment (after another poor night’s sleep) and wanted to leave myself plenty of time, as I wanted to get petrol on the way. I had to park in the hospital car park then phone his secretary that I was there. All went smoothly, the consultant says everything is fine and I will see him in another six months. On the way home, I decided to pop to a shopping centre as we are probably back on lockdown from Wednesday. Got a few bits and pieces. Had my lunch when I got home and had a snooze in the chair. Been pottering about since then.

I'm glad the news was good Osc. There are rumours of a lockdown here too btw.
