Good Morning Wednesday

Postby JanB » 21 Oct 2020, 06:14

Morning everyone

Just getting light and there are some ominous clouds around. More rain is expected :Hi:

Hope the goat buying went well Ally :D

Off to Ourique early, get the shopping out of the way, before the rain gets here. Coffee on the way back.

Then a bit of a tidy up, where we can. Pots and benches to be righted, glass to be swept up and wood to get in. Feels like winter

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Jan, morning all :)

It's raining here Jan, hope you get your shopping and tidying done before your rain starts xxx

Not sure what I'm doing yet, will see how the day unfolds. I have ironing to do, and need a walk at some point. Becky is doing a PT session upstairs - she's really going for it, sounds like thunder

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Good morning everybody
Cloudy but the rain has stopped.
Waiting for an engineer to come to service our alarm. We have it done every year. It is a local firm. We do not have to pay any call out charges if we get a fault.

Then just pootling. Too wet to do any gardening.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s a nice day here. I plan on getting out for a walk, I bought new runners on Monday and want to give them a try out. I don’t want to go anywhere muddy so will head down to the harbour. I want to go to the post office to post some cards and take out money. Later on, I will be collecting books from the library, I phoned and asked them to put together a pile for me before they close fully tonight. Also, I want to get my eyebrows tinted, as of course they are closing too. There is ironing to be done, but it’ll still be there tomorrow ;)

Never believe a supermarket website :cute: :cute:

Open at 8.00am, it said. So we got there for 5 past and it was shut  Opened at 8.30 :cute:

But no rain as yet, although the clouds are coming back, we have sunshine abd some warmth. Everything back where it should be, apart from one plant pot that broke, so we'll have to get a large one next week. Grumpy is sorting out the leaning fence panels and I'm just pootling 8-)

A very grey day here.
We need to drop a cheque off at the care home and we have ordered Eliza's Christmas present.
Steve the painter has finished our bedroom (lovely job, too) and we will be moving stuff back in today.
If I don't post again you will know that the mattress has decisively won the battle of wills!
Have a nice day all.

Afternoon all, it’s raining here but I managed to get Bill out for a nice long walk first thing before it started.

I’ve got some ironing to do, the Tesco delivery has come and so has the Amazon one, a gift card for my brother in law’s birthday. Whenever it’s something that’ll go through the letterbox they deliver early, if it’s something that won’t then I end up waiting all day

Joe’s in college today and then he’s done until Nov 3rd, he’s still got a lot of holiday to take from work before the end of the year so he decided to book half term off, when college is closed, otherwise his time off would be split as he’d still need to go into college on a Wednesday.

Had a photo memory pop up earlier, four years ago today we were on our way to LA for our ‘last’ family holiday. I’d love to turn the clock back.

Crommers, what have you bought for Eliza?

Have a good day all :D

Morning all :D

Wet, wet, wet :(

Good luck with the mattress Crommers, hope it doesn't get the better of you

So glad I did the garden, certainly won't be getting out there for the next few days if the forecast's right. It's windy though so I can already see palm leaves on the grass.

We were actually up some time ago, but it takes about an hour to help E shower and get dressed. I've also popped a casserole in the slow cooker and scrubbed the shower tray clean. Absolutely cream crackered so intend to flop on the sofa and rest my aching ankle.

Hope you all have a good day xx
