Blimey Jan, that’s not good, what’s the reason for it being out back by what...6 or 7 weeks?

Grumpy is not good on the phone, so I'll e-mail tomorrow and find out. As we're seeing our doc tomorrow, I will suggest going private. It can be done next week. If it's not that urgent, we'll wait.

Well that was different. We heard some unintelligible noises outside and had a look. A young gentleman was lying flat on his back on the pavement by our wheelie bin. After three or four goes he managed to stand up then stood there clinging on to our bin for support.
Steve next door came out and sent him on his way. He was either blind drunk or off his head on something. We think he either went out with or fancies Steve's eldest daughter.
He was last seen reeling off down the road towards the park.
I hope he's OK but it's on him. When they get into
that state you won't get any sense out of them.

PS sorry to hear about Grumpy's cancelled ecg Jan.

Lol, I think this kid would have to have been glued to the bike seat for him to stay on!

Fingers crossed it's nothing urgent (ie nothing to worry about) and you can wait Jan; but good to have the private back up. xx

Jo; sorry to read that :( but also a bit confused exactly what is different between Tier 2 and Tier 1 - from what I can make out in Tier 2 pubs can only stay open if they serve food and no social meet ups inside houses? Is that correct? But everything else still as was?

As a matter of interest, does anyone know - within Tier 2 (and 3) does the bubble support still work; so Kaz in your case you can still visit D as she is a single person household and part of your bubble, and for me I can go visit Karl and Nadine as they are my bubble and I'm a single person household?

As of today, we must wear a mask when outside and the fine for not doing so starts at 100€. Instant demand.
