Good Morning Saturday

Postby JanB » 31 Oct 2020, 06:42

Morning everyone

Another lovely, sunny, warm day forecast 8-) and I've been watching a stunning sunrise :D :D

Houseworkery stuff this morning and then this afternoon, off down to Jan's to look through some books she wants to get rid of, then we're heading to the bar, meeting up with more friends, for a couple of beers before the normal Saturday curry. Need to make some flat breads too.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

You can go off people you know! ;)
Grim, grey, rainy here.
Spag bol ala Sergio later and a glass of red.
I might make some more bread later. The italian loaf came out pretty well but a bit fluffy and light, I'll have to experiment with the amount of water maybe.
Apart from getting a paper later we don't have much to do. We got most of the shopping done yesterday. I have joined the Wine Society and look forward to the first air drop of supplies this coming Tuesday. With the news as it is, those supplies won't last long.
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny now, but rain forecast for this afternoon.

Z, M and the boys are due to arrive around 11ish, Not sure how long they'll be here, doubt they will walk down to the beach if the heavens open, but whatever they decide to do it will be so good to see them all. The doorbell just rang and the silly wotsits have sent us a lovely bouquet of flowers, what a lovely surprise :D

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all, after some stormy wet weather earlier, it has brightened up but I think we will still have showers and the sea is coming over the pier. I’m just about to make a few little buns as Michael and Kellie will be popping in for trick-or-treat later, I think, although there is such a busy evening ahead in their house between football and rugby on the telly, I don’t know where they will find the time! Today I must tackle some of the ironing that I have been ignoring for three days  Right, off to the kitchen!

Morning everyone :)

Jen that's a lovely surprise! It looks like they picked the right weekend to visit, seeing as the rumours are lockdown is coming next week xx

Been to our meeting, I actually managed a small loss this week  Currently in Corretto's undoing all my hard work :P ;) J and J are up this weekend - again, great timing - so we'll probably pop round there later. It's pouring rain so I doubt they're going out. We're invited for Sunday lunch so we'll get to see them then anyway :)

Love to all xxx

Good afternoon everybody.
Tried to post this morning but it did not appear on VV.
After the rain this morning, the sun is coming out. Will tryto remove the dead flowers on my Evening Primrose plants.

Had anew security light fitted at the front this morning. Much better than the old on as this is LED. Fitted by the son of one of mrs.e's cousins.
He has his own security business with five employees and is very busy.

Now just relaxing
Have a good day everybody.

Afternoon all, it’s beautiful and sunny (although still windy) after a wet start.

As you know, John loves to decorate :| and he’s off work this week (using up five of his many, many holiday days he has left for this year) and he has the paint ready to do the spare room. That only leaves our room though and he’s panicked a bit this morning about the possible lockdown and a paint shortage (like last time) so we’ve looked at colours and I’ve done a click and collect at B&Q. I also ordered a C word tree from Argos which he can pick up when he’s been to B&Q, we already have two but now we’ve got a new and bigger sofa in the downstairs living room, the normal tree won’t fit in it’s usual corner and anywhere else in there puts it at risk of Bill knocking it over  so I’ve ordered a slim one.

Tom’s meeting Shannon for dinner later. Hopefully it’ll stay dry so that we can walk Bill before it gets dark and the fireworks start again (although rain might put a stop to those).

Have a good day all :)
