Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 13 Nov 2020, 06:40

Good morning.

Another warm sunny day. 8-)

A walk/run soon then back to happily pootle till my two private classes 4.30 - 6.30.

As curfew is at 6pm there will be no Friday beers and tapas but Don will still meet me and we're going to Mercadona to get a few bits and my favourite 4 cheese pizza.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Cloudy but mild and warming up nicely later. Might get some rain though ;)

Washing machine on and I'll finish off the cleaning this morning and do nowt this afternoon. Worked my socks off yesterday, so can relax today 8-)

Bife a casa for dinner :D

We«'re just outside the high risk areas, so we're okay for now, but this can change, so the lunch out for Jan's birthday is looking a little dodgy. Will have a think about doing something here.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

A lovely blue sky after the rain in the night. Going to the bank and some shopping. Will wait till nearly 10.00 a.m as the bank has changed the opening hours.
Need some cash as some shops still accept cash. I do not like using my credit card for small items.
Have a good day everybody.

Good morning, it’s sunny and there’s not a cloud in the sky after waking to heavy rain at 6am.

Got online early and in a queue to get our Tesco Christmas delivery booked for the 23rd. We walked Bill after that was sorted and I’m going for a run in a minute now that it’s past school run time.

Cruiser, I did a 10pm dash to the little Tesco for some cash last night with Joe so that he had cash for work today as they order sandwiches in on Fridays and we only had coppers in the house.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :D

Wet and miserable

Well done you getting a Tesco slot for the 23rd Jo. I didn't get in the queue until 7.30, took over an hour to get through and by then 23/24 were fully booked. I've now got a weekly slot booked right through to 21 Dec. Goodness knows what will be left for people who haven't bought a delivery saver, don't think it opens for them for another 5 days :o

Had more pressie deliveries yesterday, two more arriving today. Ordering early is paying off, the last thing I need to deal with is rushing round the shops in December, after all the non essential shops being closed for a month I'm betting it will be more manic than usual.

Not much happening today, usual washing day and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Glad you’re all booked up Jen, I don’t think they released any for the 24th from what I can gather. I know they didn’t last year either. I clicked on the app at 6.15 and left it running until it clicked over to the queue at 6.45 and I finally got allowed in at 7.15. I’m all sorted up until Christmas too. Just need to have an idea of what we’re actually doing for Christmas now

Morning all, it’s a nice bright morning here and I’m meeting friends for a walk at 11am. On the way, I’ll pop into the pub next door and order tonight’s dinner - my sister is going to be here so I have her order too. Might do a little ironing this afternoon.

Last week Edward booked weekly delivery slots right up until the 23rd, so that’s done. Not totally sure what we are doing for Christmas but possibly hosting everyone here. It will be Miss Osc and family’s last Christmas within walking distance of here, next year they will be in their new house assuming that their purchase goes well......so far so good apparently.

Morning all.
A lovely sunny one after lashing rain in the night, which woke me and MrsC up.
Today we will be doing a bit of batch cooking and in a whie we'll get a paper.
The Rington's man has been to deliver the tea.
There are all sorts of dire warnings about the supply of goods for Christmas but I reckon we'll be OK. We have bought a few presents already and most of the rest just want money or a voucher.
Have a good day all.

Morning all it's sunshine here it cold
Don't expect to see anyone at Xmas only Jonathan and family before
So no hassle to book a delivery
Think we will be in lockdown anyway
And it's hard to get a Tesco or Morrison's at the best of times
Have a good day all
