Slight change of plan. The washing line broke - all the clothes on the floor

So popped into Ourique to get another one and also managed to buy a top for 6€

I now have a bubblegum pink washing line, to remind me not to drive into it again - which I did last week, with the back up

Saundra, congratulations to them! A sensible idea in the current circumstances, and a lot of people who marry abroad already do this, don't they?

Doreen's phone was off this morning so I walked up to hers to make sure she was ok. There was a fault, so Mick came up during his lunch break and fixed it! It's handy having an ex phone engineer in the family sometimes Ironed a load of bedding since I got home, now I'm having a breather!

Hi all - huge congrats to the happy couple Saundra!!

I finally got my flu jab yesterday - thanks Asda!! Had my name on a waiting list and they rang me on Tuesday to say they now had new supplies and did I still want it - cost me £8 so I was chuffed! S*d my GP surgery!!!

A couple of our staff are isolating due to their OH's having tested positive, and lo and behold, one of them has now tested positive herself so more SI for her! It's awful as it's her little boy's birthday today and she is missing him desperately (he's currently staying with his father so as not to pick it up)

We went to our fav riverside walk this morning - was lovely bright sunshine and we called into Secret Garden to pick up a takeout latte and a gorgeous cherry bakewell scone each. The scones are the BEST I've had anywhere, so was so pleased to see she was doing takeaways After tomorrow's half day shift, I am off all next week - I am SO looking forward to the time off!

Also Jen is 32 on Sunday (!!) so I have just arranged to drop by with her card and a couple of presents for her. I won't be going in, even though I'll be sorely tempted! Bloody CV!!
