Evening all. We have spent the last few hours sat in front of the log burner watching Christmas Chronicles 1 and 2. I am now partaking of a rather lovely glass of red whilst Mick cooks dinner - steak, chips, onion rings, mushrooms and salad. Yum. I don’t cook on a Sunday and rarely in a Saturday - Saturday is takeaway night.

I started a new voluntary thing and today was my first shift so it’s been an interesting day. Am back again next Sunday.

Back to work tomorrow for me (and two of my colleagues) after 2 weeks isolation. I’ve only got 5 shifts though and then I’m off in a weeks leave the following week. The way Xmas falls this year plus the leave I had booked plus the enforced isolation means I’m only working 10 shifts/8 days in December. :Hi:
