Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 17 Dec 2020, 05:54

Good morning.

Sunny and mild forecast 17 degrees.

Usual two hours teaching this morning then popping out for brunch with a friend.

Back to work 4 - 7 then that's me finished till 7 January. :D Although where on earth this first trimestre has gone I have no idea!

Home to Thai fishcakes with a chilli dipping sauce. Thanks Don. :D :D

I've been watching In the Factory the past 2 nights about the Christmas goodies made and sold in the UK. Amazing.

It's the last one tonight and also the Masterchef final. No idea who will win as it's such a close call.

Have a great day.

Lot of guns around this morning, probably hunter getting food for Christmas

Off to Ourique for shopping after breakfast and to collect a prescription from the chemist.

Apart from that, not a lot.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

They are after your neighbour Jan! Justice is at hand! :D
Morning all. Blue skies here and so is Eliza.
Today holds a call back from the doctors and a trip to Sainsbury's.
Better start scanning the tv listings again!
Have a nice day everyone.

Good morning, I seem to have been up for hours - we tend to get up a bit earlier on Thursdays as our supermarket shop is due between 9-11 although it is generally closer to 11am. It is quite a bright day out there but everyone is well muffled up so I presume it is cold. Apart from usual tidying up, I’ve made a couple of calls, one to renew the car insurance which is due the end of the month and I wanted to give the disc plenty of time to arrive given the mad Christmas post - post for delivery is up by 230% :o We got some cards this morning and also an order from M&S, so only awaiting one more package now. My nephews’s partner sends me a beautiful calendar every year, and that arrived today as well - last year was Edward Hopper, this year is an English artist called Brian Sweet. Edward had ordered new headphones and they arrived via UPS. We’ve also assembled a gingerbread house which Michael and Kellie will decorate this afternoon, as many sweets going in their mouths as on the house

Morning all :)

Lovely sunshine here 8-)

I agree Ally, it's a close call for the Masterchef final, I like them all so will be happy whoever wins. It's been a great series.

That did make me laugh

Love the idea of a gingerbread house Osc.

I've popped a casserole in the slow cooker so that's dinner taken care of. Not expecting any deliveries so intend to have a nice lazy day.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all.

I’ve had an expensive 24 hours. I accidentally put 20 of Lucy’s hair extensions through the washing machine (£230), then my dental bill came to £283.00 and then on the way home I got a puncture and have had to have a new tyre £60.

I’m about to open wine!!!!
