Afternoon everyone :)

Ooh Ally, I hope Michelle will be able to get home :o I agree, it is all loopy at the moment :? ((((x))))

Ria, I do hope your family sort out their travel as well ((((x)))) Good on you, for picking up essentials for your friends! :D I am braving Sainsbury's tomorrow evening! My fresh order (turkey, prepped veg, a couple of puds) is due to collect after 5 and I will pick up the rest of what we need at the same time. I have almost £90 worth of Nectar points so will use them 8-)

*Waves to everyone*

Two hours later: Got sidetracked, D got called into the surgery for a lung function test. Had to wait outside in her car, in the dark, then her stats were so poor they told her to get a Covid test! She rang us very upset, and we nipped up to Sainsbury's to pick up the steroids they prescribed, and have been round there trying to convince her that she does NOT have the virus, the surgery are just covering their @rses! Of course her oxygen levels were low, she's a frail 84 year old with COPD who'd been sitting out in the dark for 20 minutes! :( :( I did order her a home test ( gawd, what a palaver that is!) and that will arrive in a day or two, but I am furious, because they really frightened her  :o
