Finally Casualty returns tonight

Just had a text, from Portimao Hospital, to go there on Tuesday at 2.30

I know my doc was sorting out an appointment about the blockage, but Portimao? Never been, no idea where/what, so I've just asked Jan if she can help. Didn't mention gastro, just surgery

I had a holiday in Portimao years ago, it's a fishing village, or it was in 1982 anyway Probably changed a bit since then xxxx

Jan, very kindly, is taking me, as she knows the area. I've told here I'll pay the petrol and buy her lunch

Bit of a dilemma, as she's picking up son's of friends, who went to England before Christmas, both have covid.

But I'm taking the risk.

The boys stayed in a separate house, and I know Jan is super careful. Her boys have to strip off when they get home after school, every day, then head into the shower.
