Good morning.

Sunny and warm forecast. 8-)

We're having a bacon roll for breakfast then heading off to our beloved Nerja for a couple of days. :D

Lots of beach walking and eating.

See you on Tuesday..... take care. X

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Frosty, very very frosty  My poor plants   Sun is out so should warm up soon.

Late start as we really couldn't be bothered to get up, I risked it, to turn the heater on, then headed back to bed

Trying to sort things out this morning, we have some very old maps, so I'll be looking on the interwebby thingy maps  And trains, I fancy the train 8-)

Should also be doing the cleaning I didn't do yesterday, but a little bit of dust is not my priority at the moment, so it can wait.

Enjoy your breakette Ally x

Roast pork for dinner and a large brandy, I think

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

The sun is coming out so it may warm up. Another quiet day.

Now just pootling.

Morning all. Rain for us but at least it’s washed away the snow.

Just having my breakfast and then I’m off to do my food shopping.

And that’s about it for the day!

Morning all, it is bright enough here but very cold, my temperature app says it is -2 although oddly enough there is no frost. No real plan for the day, I’ll go for a walk before the pier gets too busy and then just potter around for the rest of the day. Happy Birthday Mrs E!

Morning all :)

Bonkers weather here, first heavy rain, then bright sunshine followed by huge hailstones. We're back to sunshine now :?

Happy Birthday to Mrs.E.

It doesn't feel like a Sunday, probably because we had our big roast dinner on Friday. I have made a blancmange and jelly, but our dinner's going to be very easy, M&S cottage pie with peas.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Thankfully the snow seems to be long gone - it's a lot warmer today, and a bit drizzly. I'm cooking a SW friendly roast - spuds done with Frylite - and that's almost ready :)

Happy birthday to Mrs E :D

Have a great time in Nerja, Ally :)

Love to all xx

Enjoy the break Ally!

Today we have taken the decs down - much as I hate putting them up (hence Tom doing the tree!) I don't like taking them down as the house looks bare! And the lights have been so pretty, I'm glad we decided to get them for outside this year.

We've just been for a MaccyDs latte and fries (for me) and a chicken wrap for Tom, we also got Lily a McFlurry as she isn't very well this past couple of days - D has done a Covid test for her and she doesn't have it, but she gets a lot of sore throats this time of year and may, in due course, have to have a tonsilectomy. So the ice cream would help. I'm trying to get back into 'work mode' for tomroow!1 Grrrrr, this past week and a half has been bliss!! I feel like stamping my feet and boycotting work!!

We had an email from M (boss) couple of days ago to say we could have our names put down for a vaccine if we wish as we are public facing. I'm very surprised a couple of the girls don't want it - one even tried to say her reasons for not having it were that it doesn't protect you from Covid19, it just lessens the symptoms if you do get it! So I don't know where she got this info from!! Anyone know if this is correct? Both bosses are keen to get the vaccine and quite honestly if it's good enough for them, then it's good enough for me!

We've had sunshine, sleet and rain today. I MUST get in touch with the plumber again re the boiler, as it's still not right. Job for tomorrow...
