Just trying to get stuff sorted now, if I can go by train or we can drive down and find it.

I'm not sure I really want Jan to take me, considering she's picking boys up from the airport this afternoon. There's always Chris and Lucy. Grumpy and I are not very good at finding places, we tend to row and then get very stroppy with each other rather quickly

Master O has just heard by text he's definitely tested negative for the Covid virus.

I have read somewhere that the "clincher" symptom for Covid is the loss of taste and smell. You can have all the other symptoms, but if you've still got taste and smell, it's unlikely to be Covid.
And I think Debih's said the same on Kaz's "Flip" thread .....

Does anyone have any ideas how to stop bedding becoming one twisted jumble of fabric when in the tumble drier? Without fail the duvet cover and fitted sheet end up as one big ball (and the duvet cover has been buttoned up). And it's worse when I wash the allergy covers as well (every 4th normal bedding wash).... that then ends up with two duvet covers, one mattress cover and the fitted sheet in a big jumble. With pillow cases right in the middle

It's a nuisance, isn't it Ria? My new dryer has a setting especially for bedding,curtains etc that agitates in a way supposed to minimise tangling, but to be honest it doesn't make much difference. I tend to stop it every ten minutes or so and detangle manually, but that is a bit of a faff
