Good Morning Friday

Postby JoM » 08 Jan 2021, 08:21

Morning all, more snow here to add to that that’s still hanging around from nearly 2 weeks ago!

No plans for today.

Have a good day all :)

Good morning JoM and anybody else who is up.

It is warmer than it has been withno sign of frost on the cars.
Had a phone call from our surgery just after 5,00 p.m last night. We are now booked in to be vaccinated on Tusday morning.
We know it is not a scam as I have seen the nurse several times. And a scammer would have to know the local area to give directions to the
building being used for the vaccination.
Going shopping this morning. Then some housework.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning Jo, Cruiser and everyone

Grey, cold and windy, so a lovely long lie-in  Not going to get any better util the end of next week, if anything, it's going to get colder at night than we've ever seen here

Treating ourselves to a cooked breakfast this morning and by the size of it, we won't need to eat anything until later tonight   Think I'd better pare it down a little ;)

I was going to get some cleaning done this morning, will see what I feel like after breakfast.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all. Grey and damp here but not as cold as it has been.
We are having Eliza to sleep over and need to do a Sainsbury's run. This afternoon I'm making cottage pie.
That's about it!
Recorded Death in Paradise last night so we have something to watch tonight.
Have a good day all.

Morning all, I sat down to post yesterday, got distracted and never got back! We had Michael and Kellie so distraction comes easily  It is a bright and very cold morning here, there was some frost overnight but mostly everything just looks damp. This morning I’m having a Zoom chat with some of my gym friends, Edward and I will get out for a walk at some stage, and I really should iron him a shirt or two  In the post this morning I got an appointment for a follow up mammogram at the end of February, almost a year to the day since the whole process started last year. Coincidentally, my surgeon was on the radio this morning talking about Covid and its effects on upcoming surgery.

Morning all :D

Very misty and overcast here.

It's Friday so back to my regular washing day, the bed's stripped and the first load is nearly done. What with that and a house looking bare I'm missing all the Christmas sparkle. Oh well, only 10 months or so to go and I can start planning it all over again

Hope you all have a good day, wrap up warm and stay safe xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Just rain here, no snow. I got my cleaning done this morning, walked up to see D, now having a nice cuppa :) My kettle has started to leak, so I finally felt justified in replacing it for the baby blue one I have fancied for a while. Of course that wouldn't have looked right with the red toaster and kitchen roll holder, so I ordered them to match. That meant replacing the red blind at the window, so I ordered a new blind as well ;) They arrived while I was out, so I'll unpack them later.

First though, Becky has begged me to trim her fringe :? I cried off claiming we needed new scissors - so she ordered some, they arrived, and now I have no excuse   Wish us both luck!? :P

Love to all xxx

Hahah Kaz things like that spiral once you start don't they?? Glad you've got the matching stuff now though :D :D Hope Becky still loves you after the haircut!! ;)

It's been a weird old Friday. I had, like my colleagues and bosses, to go to a hub for my Covid vaccine....through the night the heavens decided it would be a wheeze to drop a TON of snow all over the area! And I mean - A. TON. Anyone on my FB will see the pics of around my estate. So it was touch and go whether we'd get there (it's about a ten mile drive and many of my mates couldn't make it also) However, it finally stopped snowing around 2pm so we took the plunge and went - so now it's done.

Also I ended up covering at work this morning as the girl who usually works Fridays was unable to get in....all I did was cancel appointments and collections. And the shop was freezing, and I spent most of the morning watching the vehicles struggling to move on the sloping road out the shop front.

Anyway I'm home now and catching up on here 8-)
