Morning Wednesday

Postby jenniren » 20 Jan 2021, 08:04

Morning all :D

Up at silly o' clock getting ready to go for my diabetic review. Leaving E in bed until I get back, no time to get him showered and dressed before I go.

The surgery was like a ghost town when I popped in to pick up a specimen bottle yesterday. Saw our MP on the news talking about the shortage of vaccine in our area, apparently it's being looked at. Our surgery has only done half their over 80's because they can't get anywhere near enough. Seems distribution isn't being evenly spread across the country.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Morning Jen, Saundra and everyone

Wet, sunny with dark grey clouds. More rain to come but at least it's warmer 8-)

Good luck with the review Jen xx

No point in getting up early, not a lot to do inside, so had a lie-in with a coffee.

General pootling, trying ti find something to do, might just have to read

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s a miserable day here and due to be wet for the rest of the day, but I have a smile on my face because Trump leaves the White House today :D :D I did all the ironing yesterday so today will just be pottering about, probably knitting and watching tv. Michael and Kellie will be here for a while later, as Miss Osc and SIL are doing a final inspection of the new house prior to getting the keys tomorrow...excited for them :)

Good afternoon all, it’s raining and very breezy here.

I’ve cleaned the bathrooms and walked over to the post office to pay some cash into our bank account, for us and Joe as we’d all got Christmas money hanging around  It’s handy that the post office do that, certainly saves going into town and queuing outside the bank.
The Tesco delivery came just after 10 so that’s all away now.

This afternoon I’ll park myself in front of the TV because there’s an Inauguration to watch :Hi:

Have a good day all :)

Afternoon all :)

Mick and I are both round at D's - Mick has taken a few days leave as he has lots to use up. He was going to give both cars the once-over, as they're both due for their MOTs, but it's absolutely hammering down - far too wet to be outside  So we nipped up to Sainsbury's to get D some milk then came up to hers 8-)

Osc, Jo, we'll be watching too ;) :D xx

Have fun with Eliza, Crommers :) xx

Jan it sounds like a good day to get your head in a book :) xx

Good luck with the review Jen xx

Stay safe everyone :) xxx

Hello all - what a miserable wet windy and just absolutely meh type of day.

A busy morning workwise and a quick dash to Sainsbury's to get a few bits and bobs for my neighbour and myself.... then back home to clean the chicken coop and give the girls their veg; I swear they eat healthier than I do :D With this weather at the moment I'm so grateful I spent what I did on their run so at least they have somewhere dry. The outside area is covered by a gazebo at the moment because of Avian Flu but even with that it's just one muddy mess; just too much rain that has nowhere to go. But when I think about the flood alerts up north and see pictures of how much rain others have had I'll count my blessings.

Going to try and have an early night tonight; been awake since 3pm 'ish. The awning outside my bedroom window was damaged in the last windy storm so now whenever it rains there is a very annoying drip drip drip outside the bedroom window. I moved to the lounge but the cats figured that was an invite to use me as a jungle gym and were climbing all over me and the sofa :D Usually they're as fast asleep as I am and I don't even know they're there but not this morning.

Hope you all have as lovely a day as possible and roll on inauguration time so the world is rid of at least one clown in power ;-)
