Morning Cruiser, morning everyone

Wet. Mild though :D

We're going to have to let some water out of the pool again

Car is supposedly coming up this morning, Too many police around yesterday, turning people back from the boundaries. All back to normal from 5.00 this morning. For now, anyway. No doubt it will change, due to the increase in infections.

I had wanted to do some running around in Ourique, once we have the car back, but not in this rain. It's supposed to be dry this afternoon, so we'll see.

Best of luck to E Osc, hope all goes well xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s sunny and cold here, plenty of frost but no snow. We’re up and at it early to get Edward to the hospital (thanks for the good wishes, Jan). When I come back I’ll head over to Miss Osc’s new house to do some cleaning - not sure if Edward will be home tonight as he doesn’t do well with anaesthetics, but if he is done early enough, he might be ok, we’ll see. All vibes grateful received :)

Morning everyone

Good luck for E today and hope he does have his op early and can come home; nicer to recover at home that in a loud hospital; esp during these times!
Jan, good luck to you as well that you get the car! And no driving in the rain isn't fun - fingers crossed it dries up enough so you can get things done this afternoon.
Cruiser; take care when you venture out - it's going to be very icy

Usual day for me. I had such a lazy lazy day yesterday. Got up fed the birds, sorted the chickens and then sat on the sofa for most of the day and did very very little - bliss :D Cats and I were very happy to be just cuddled under blankets.

Lovely blue skies this morning; I need to go out in a bit and empty the two smaller waterbutts attached to the greenhouse; they're overflowing as it is, resulting in the ground by the chicken mimic a quagmire - not nice for them or me. And with the snow melting it's just going to be even worse. I just wish I had somewhere to store the water as I hate wasting it knowing I'll need it later in the year, but alas I don't and needs must so down the drain it's going to have to go :(

Have a lovely day everyone, stay warm, stay dry and above all - stay safe xx

Good morning all.
I hope E's op goes well Osc and that he is home soon. With a bit of luck you'll have your car back Jan!
Maybe get another water butt Ria?
Same weather here Saundra, blue skies and very frosty.
Yesterday we saw our daughter, son in law and Eliza; it was lovely to have them around again.
In a while we are going to Tesco.
We are listening to the cricket from Sri Lanka. Nice to think that someone somewhere is warm!

I did enjoy going out :Hi: :Hi:

Car all done for another year. He is such a great mechanic, we are very lucky to have him. We didn't have enough cash to pay him, not being forewarned in time, but Joaquinha gave him the rest and as soon as Jan is back from dropping them both off in the Algarve, I'll pop down and give it to her. Next year he'll have it for about 10 days, as rubbers and other stuff needs to be done, But at least we'll be more prepared

Shopping done and also prescriptions got.

Have asked for another appointment for my 24 hour hart monitor, then I can get the dentist sorted and also our doctors appointments.

Very April showery type of day. Blue sky, then it clouds over and chucks it down  Lovely and warm though 8-)

Morning all :D

Lovely and sunny here 8-)

Good luck to E Osc, hope he's home soon xx

Although it looks like a summer day, I'm betting it's mighty chilly out there. A photo was taken and posted on our local Fb page early this morning showing a group of all year round swimmers down at the beach. There were about 8 ladies, while I admire them, I can't help feeling they must be completely bonkers  Blimey you can't get me in the sea in this country, even in the summer. I've become very soft in my old age, need it to be like warm bathwater these days

Nothing planned, expecting a Tesco delivery this afternoon and that's about as exciting as it gets.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe and warm xx

I've got 6 already Crommers; would love to have space for more but there just isn't. I usually use the water to top up the pond (it has a leak and really needs to be replaced!) so those 6 butts don't last very long in the summer.
