Good afternoon all and thanks for the good wishes.
The appointment was fine. Pontefract GI was very quiet (and very clean). The nurse had to manoeuver my left leg around for a better x-ray of the hip socket, which was painful but OK.
The highlight was this exchange:-
Nurse "Sorry for poking around in your groin"
Crommers "It's OK, I should be so lucky"
Nurse "Yes, I bet you weren't expecting to hear that today!".
I'm seeing the consultant on the 17th next month.
Debih, that sounds properly busy!
Not a bad day here, colder but brighter now.
We're having Eliza for a sleepover, hopefully she will oblige us and sleep through, though we aren't expecting it.

Morning. Sorry I've been awol this week. We are running on fumes at work as we have staff off with covid so I'm currently working 7am to 7pm. It's all hands on deck - I'm up in the secretaries office on my own as all the secretaries are off either positive or isolating. We have GP's doing coding work and nurses running reception!

But I am off today and tomorrow as there is no vaccinating this weekend. I am off food shopping shortly and then home to do not very much.

And I don't blame you!! Sounds horrendous!

Ally how lovely to say the words warm and sunny....how does that feel again? Sunny, well yes sort of, but I have totally forgotten how warm feels *sigh* Roll on summer!

Just had a 90 minute FaceTime with my sister....we don't chat often (no, I hear you say!) but when we do.....lots of texts of course! Work this morning for me, well I say work, I really just sat and chatted to my colleague all morning as no clinic and not much doing.

Just shoved a darks wash in, Chinese later.
