Just had an e-mail from the finances office about the car tax.

As the Finances offices are shut, we can now pay it at the post office or by the cash point (multibank here).

They've given me the payment reference and the amount, which has gone down by about 10 euros from last year

What’s on telly tonight, says I. Football, says he. There’s been football all afternoon, says I (rolling eyes). No there hasn’t, says he. Funny that, says I, every time I looked at the telly there were fellas running around after some kind of ball

Next door is up to something. He's been measuring and sticking a fairly large area and now he's digging holes

He's going to plan loads of trees, bushy ones, to stop those nosey neighbours spying on him.

He's already done that, but the goats ate them

We think it's a carport, on a slope

Just hope its not for more animals.

Actually, we sit and watch him doing daft things.
