Afternoon all, dull and snowy looking here but so far, only an occasional flurry. I had a list made for today and have completed it *polishes halo* . Bedding changed, towels in the wash to be followed by bedding. Little baby blanket finished, ironed, wrapped and delivered to new grandparents. Other ironing done. Apples and milk bought. I had bought new duvet covers for Michael and Kellie, which arrived this morning, so we’ll bring them over this afternoon and take them out for a walk. That amounts to quite a busy day at the moment

Afternoon all, just a quick check in now I’ve finally surfaced.

Day 2 of vaccine side effects. Yesterday I ached all over, was shivery, tired and horrendously thirsty. Today it’s not so bad - just my eyeballs hurt, still quite thirsty though and no appetite, I haven’t eaten since Saturday tea time.
I’ve never reacted to a vaccine before!

Joe was tired yesterday and had a headache which he still has today.

Take care all xx

Still snowing on and off, definitely still a winter wonderland :cute:

Sorry you're still having side effects Jo xx I was very lucky, just a sore arm the day after but other than that I've felt fine.

Needless to say we won't be going anywhere today, much too treacherous underfoot. We're expecting a Tesco delivery between 3-4pm, keeping fingers crossed the snow doesn't get any worse and stop them getting here.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe and warm xx

Afternoon all :)

((((((Jo))))) I hope that's it over now, rotten luck :( xxx

We've had a few snowflakes, but nothing settled :) I think the idea of a noon scream is a very good one  :!:

It's all go here! I was up early emptying the ensuite - considering I was always moaning about the lack of storage, I certainly had a lot of stuff packed in there   I've put what we'll need for the next few days into the main bathroom - Becky kindly emptied a cabinet space for us   The skip came first thing, and Mick cracked on. I made him a big jug of coffee and got out of his way, he prefers it that way ;) Becky and I walked up to see D, and have just got home. Home made burgers and SW chips for dinner 8-)

Love to all xxx

Oh Jo that doesn't sound good - did you have the Oxford one? I've heard a few people have a reaction with that one, although not my sister!! Hopefully you'll be good now xx

I have had the heating on since about 11....it's Baltic here, and we have snow. I rang my GP this morning as I was woken twice in the night with a very strong fast heart rate, it's happened before and he advised then to take my daily beta blocker in the evening rather than the morning...as the lady advised, the GP rang back this afternoon and he's increased the dosage of the BB, I'll get it delivered tomorrow as I can't go for it!! :? Also I have had very bad indigestion and have been burping lots this morning (sorry TMI!!) but not sure if it's genuine or anxiety driven. Sigh. It's worse me being home as I dwell on things too much and trying not to sit in the same room as Tom means I'm alone with my thoughts....

Ooo you're getting a new bathroom before me Kaz!! 8-) :D That's what happens when you have a man wot can.....I'm counting the months till April for ours....

I'm all for a 6pm scream....

Stay safe in the snow and take care all xxx

Oh, poor you, Jo xx Hope you're feeling better soon xx

Been wet and windy here. The washing went out and then back in twice, so it's nicely folded and will be put on the airers later.

The infection rate in Portugal is down by almost 10, 000 a day, which is a huge relief. We're doing something right.
