Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 17 Feb 2021, 06:16

Good morning.

Warm, sunny and forecast mid 20s. 8-)

I'm off for a good old 10km run/walk. Just in the mood.

Back to spend a day at home! Looking forward to reading and lazing around.

Repair Shop and Sleb Homecook final (I've loved this) tonight.

Have a great day.

Hugs for Cruiser & Mrs E. xx

Morning all :D

Wet but not actually raining right now.

Just seen E off. The driver rang yesterday evening to say he would pick up at 7.30am so it gave E time to have brekkie before setting off. I've almost forgotten what it's like to get up so early lol it's going to be a very long day.

Still need to shower and prep the casserole to go in the slow cooker. Thought it would be nice for E to come home to, also the easiest option as I've no idea what time he'll get home. He's been booked in for x-rays at 10.15 and Mr. Palmer at 11am. Providing things go to time he should be home mid afternoon, but from past experience it doesn't always go to plan. Fingers tightly crossed he comes home with an idea of when/if he can have his re-op.

Hoping you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Well it's quite a bit warmer here. We're up early as Mick is giving B a lift in to work this week. I'm just about to put the porridge on for his breakfast, I'll have bran flakes :) Off to see D later, then Zumba tonight.

Morning everyone

Misty start. Warmth forecast for later 8-)

Best of luck for E today Jen x

The Pingo run is for the morning and then it's a cooking day. We did a lot of weeding yesterday, so giving our backs a rest today. Having a bbq later, so doing the two hot salads we like and also a stew for tomorrow.

Hope Gal is doing okay and Mrs e is too.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you''re doing xx

Morning all

Jen; best of luck to E for today; hope all goes as well as can be and that he gets home at a decent time and not too tired.
Cruiser, hope Mrs E is doing OK; and also that you are OK and looking after yourself

cool, wet and miserable here. The fine drizzle is just being blown around by the wind making it all colder than it should be. So indoor jobs for me today - I bought some tile paint to cover the bathroom tiles; it was a choice of dark or light grey or white so I went with the light grey. In hindsight I probably should have gone with the darker one but c'est la vie. It's only a temporary thing so not going to spend more money on it. First need to give the tiles a very good clean and scrub with sugar soap so busy doing that at the moment. I'll probably head to a garden centre at some point to get some seed trays - need to see what I have first but know it's not enough.

Jan - I'm longing for the day we can have a BBQ. The weekend looks dry so we may get our first one of the season in then.

Everyone else; enjoy the day and all the bits you're up to.

stay safe xx

Good morning all. Blue skies and sun here but it looks to have chucked it down overnight.
Vibes for the Cruisers, Gal, Jen and E.
Today I'm off to see the orthopedic specialist; I'm not expecting too much. Anything better than "Your hip is very bad but you'l have to wait for a year" would be a pleasant surprise.
That's at one o'clock. Apart from that nothing.
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it’s sunny and mild here after a wet night.

We’ve walked Bill and I’ve been for a run to the start of the Chase and back. The washing machine’s on so the washing will dry outside. I’m being quiet because John’s in a meeting so the hoovering will have to wait.

I’m supposed to be having a parcel delivered today. I checked the app last night and it was at the main depot in Wolverhampton, ready to be sent to the Cannock delivery office which is our local one where all of our mail comes from and where we collect any missed parcels. Checked it again this morning and it now says it’s been sent to the Cannock delivery office in error (??!!) so has been re-routed and is in transit. They really can’t blame Covid because this is just the usual service we get from Royal Mail around here.

Hope all goes well for E today, Jen. Fingers crossed that he gets a date for his op (and isn’t too late back) x

Hoping for good news for you Crommers!

Love to Cruiser and and Mrs E x

Have a good day all :)
