Good Morning Monday

Postby JanB » 08 Mar 2021, 08:16

Morning everyone

More clouds than sun this morning, but we are forecast more sun later 8-) And warmer :D

Gentle stuff again this morning, I really don't seem to be able to do any weeding, as it's the getting back up that causes a bit of a niggle, so it's back to doing nowt. So fed up with this now.

Washing machine on and I'll have a gentle stomp up and down the drive, for some exercise.

Leftover curry for dinner.

Big hugs and thoughts for Cruiser x

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Morning Jan, morning all

Well, what a weekend - the best part of it was that Saturday late afternoon I got a call from Nadine who was working at a vaccination hub that day to say they had spare vaccine and get my butt down there pronto - well not even 30mins later I was at the doors and now have had my first vaccination :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: Karl obviously also had the call which means us 3 adults in our bubble are vaccinated.

I met up with a friend for a social distance walk along the river in Godalming yesterday - was nice to get out and just natter

As for my neighbour, well I did end up going round there both Saturday evening and Sunday morning. I do despair though - how she lives the way she does is beyond me; the place is just so filthy I shudder.

Oh well - another usual / usual for me. Will need to pop to Sainsbury's at some point this morning as I didn't go over the weekend and have no veg for the chickens - I'll have a loud riot on my hands! :D :D :D

Crommers, how are Mrs C and her sister (and you) all doing?

Good morning to you all.

Dull, grey, drizzle and hardly any breeze here.

Going to pick up some new glasses at 10 then not much else on for the rest of the day 'cept for a stroll later on.

Thoughts are with Cruiser and Cromwell and any others who need them.

Well done with the jab, Ria. Hopefully no bad side-effects.

Morning all, cloudy with some sun here. Got up a bit late as I fell back asleep after turning on the radio, then woke up with a start as the postman rang the doorbell with stuff I had ordered from M&S - at that stage I thought it was 8am but in fact it was 8.40. General stuff to do this morning, then we will collect Kellie from school, bring her home to her house, then go for a walk with herself and Michael.

Had a nice time yesterday, it was a gorgeous day. We walked the two piers then decided to walk back through the old golf course where it would be less busy. On the way there, Edward suggested we call to his sister, whose hubby is one of his golf buddies and has been unwell for quite some time. We sat outside their house in lovely sheltered sun and warmth, their son was there also, and we had plenty of chat and some laughs. It just felt like something so normal to do.

Good morning all.
We have just been for a paper, later on we'll go and visit our daughter. Our son came over yesterday, it was good to see him.
When all this is over I'm going to take all the family out for a meal.
We are doing well Ria, thank you. Congratulations on getting your jab!
The usual usual of not too much happening today but never mind.
I hope Cruiser is doing OK today.
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Little bit grey here, but at least it's nice and dry.

Good to hear you've now had the jab Ria.

Thinking of Cruiser xx

Not much happening here, expecting a delivery from Tesco later this afternoon and that just about sums up our level of excitement these days.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all, it’s milder here and quite bright.

I’ve had a good clothes sort out this morning as we had a charity bag through the letterbox last week - you’d have thought my numbers had come up when I saw it  There were two dressing gowns that the boys had replaced with new ones at Christmas on the chair in the spare room, a massive box of clothes and shoes that Tom didn't want in the garage, a bag that Joe had sorted out and put in the spare room too and I’d got a few bits as well. I’ve filled the charity bag and two and a half heavy duty black bags

Tom’s back in work today so I’m not having to be so quiet.

Thoughts are with Cruiser x

Have a good day all :)
