I think the maternity hospitals in Dublin had to ask people to stop sending them, so many people making them during the pandemic!

Cruiser, I’m so glad you have friends around, if times were different there would be even more, I am sure. I would love to have written to you if I had your address. You are right to cry whenever you need to instead of keeping it all in.[/quote]

Osc, Have sent you a PM with the details

Afternoon all, it’s sunny and mild.

I’ve made the most of the good weather before it changes tomorrow. We walked Bill first thing, I put the washing on when we got home, did some tidying while waiting for the school crowds to disperse (ie mothers blocking the footpaths while talking in groups) before going for a run, had a shower and dried my hair when I got back and then walked Bill again while John was in a meeting.

We’ve been walking on the common and in the woods for 9 years now, up to three times a day, and only once have we seen deer there...and then on Bill’s second walk today on a quiet out of the way path we saw a herd again. It was a lovely surprise, me and Bill stood watching them for a couple of minutes before they trotted away. There are parts of the Chase where you’re pretty much guaranteed to see them if you’re patient though, you get people setting up with cameras to photograph them.

Cruiser, my love and thoughts are with you x

Have a good day all :)

It's food stuffs coming from the UK, Ria, hence the problem :cute:

Very happy with the new glasses, although am still doing the Woooh bit, until my eyes adjust

Got the stuff we wanted and had a couple of beers with Chris and Lucy, they're going to Castro tomorrow, to get some tiles and going to the butcher there, who does the best meat, so will be getting some stuff for us too :D

Sun out and it was quite warm in the Algarve. Empty though
