It's actually fairly warm here today, if you keep out of the wind - bright spring sunshine Been to Sainsbury's with D, did my ironing and some washing before I went. Becky's been to the dentist in Cheltenham, a cosmetic thing to get a brace. I think she has beautiful teeth already, but what do I know?.

Ally I said that to D this morning, about the week flying past! xxx

Not a bad day here, sunny and warm out of the wind.
Jen, that does sound like a big wound. Vibes for E's continued recovery.
We have been out to deliver a birthday card, get MrsC's blood pressure checked and some shopping for a relative. MrsC is out now for a short walk with her sis.
At the docs we bumped into an old acquaintance who has gone part time so he can look after his 88 year old dad; when we came home we met Rosie who is looking after her grandson on her day off as she does every week. The got talking to N, whose mother (in her 70's) looks after her mother (in her 90's).
The thought does occur that without this army of unpaid helpers what would we do?

Goodness knows Crommers, we had my mum with dementia living with us for 6 years, she only went into care when we were too exhausted to look after her. Carer burn out is what they called it and that absolutely describes it.

Good afternoon everybody,

Like someone has said time is flying by fast.
This morning the plumber came to fit a new gasket on the CH boiler. I then went and did some shopping.
After lunch put a copy of the Order of Service and the eulogy in envelopes. There are twelve which I have now posted.
Waitng for replies to emails a I am not sure of addresses, one is in America.
It is busy i the crescent where I live.
Still working on the house next door. A van and a car have been there all day. Across the road, one of the houses is having the drive reflagged.
A house at the top is having a big willow tree cut down. This is the second day they have been there.
At another house at the end repairs are being carried out to the front of the garage.
I have not time to be miserable but I am missing mrs.e

Cruiser think everyone is having work done in there homes because they can't go on holiday or stuff so they spend on there homes and gardens my eldest is classed as a handyman started on his own when he became unemployed a few years ago and he's working 24/7 doing bathrooms kitchens can't keep up with it

A lovely afternoon.

Grumpy drove us to Garvao, where we had a chat with Linda and took delivery of a crate of books and a huge bag of lemons

Then back to Steve and Jackie's - the old school house Ria - quite a few beers later, we're up to date with the gossip and put the world to rights too. They found out a few things they didn't know and I got some more books

Cooling down now, might light the fire. We didn't last night, the first time since October but had the heater on.

Favas and steamed potatoes for dinner, footie later.
