Been blowy here too Jen and April showers as well

Managed to get the mattress clean but it's still damp, so we'll move into another room for tonight.

As for rubbish being left everywhere, they’ve obviously managed to carry it there so what’s stopping them carrying it back to a bin? It’s a problem we have around here every bank holiday or every hot day, except it’s been constant over the last year. There’s a part of Cannock Chase that’s always left in a mess (despite it being by the visitors centre, a cafe and a playground with plenty of bins around) and every day on walks we’re seeing discarded cans, bottles, coffee cups, packets etc. Just last night when walking Bill we could hear noise by the pool and as we walked across the common two lads were walking in that direction with a box of beer each, the boxes that contain 12 bottles.
People have been buying litter grabbers and they go around with those and a bin bag, but they shouldn’t have to be doing that.

Oh well, just over a week until the shops reopen, many of those littering up the countryside will no doubt go back to getting their exercise around the retail parks.
