Good Morning Wednesday

Postby JanB » 07 Apr 2021, 06:45

Morning everyone

Misty in the valleys and the sun is pushing through an we're expecting another warm day 8-)

Off to get Pingo out of the way soon and then back for breakfast. Grumpy is having a day off from gardening, well, he'll be strimming down the drive ;) and finishing off a bedside table he's making. I'll do the cushion, as my fingers now feel okay.

BBQ later 8-)

Glad E is so much better Jen :Hi:

Good morning Jan and everyone.

Summer has definitely kicked in here. 8-)

I was up and out for a run by 7.30 before it gets too hot.

We're off to Leroy Merlin to buy a gas BBQ. :D :D

Don will set it all up and try it out tonight.

Have a good day.

Good morning all, it’s another chilly one. The snow from yesterday is lying on the grass, the paths everywhere are fine though.

We’ve walked Bill and John’s now on a video call with Xana from work. Not work related but in true Xana style she’s renewed her car insurance and managed to buy a policy which requires her to have a black box to monitor her driving, usually for new drivers. She’s 53

No real plans for today, I’ll hoover once Tom’s up.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all xxx

Just a quick post before I head up to D's to ask for some VV vibes for my sister-in-law Marina's dad, who has had a major heart attack, and a stent inserted yesterday, but is still in intensive care - the next 48 hours are crucial. He's almost 90, had Covid at the end of last year, but has otherwise been very fit and healthy until now. He has requested a DNR, which has put Marina and her family in bits, but it's his wishes. Thank you xxxx

Good morning all.
Lots of vibes for Marina's dad Kaz.
Blue skies here but absolutely freezing. Summer has most certainly not arrived in these here parts.
You and Grumpy are hard workers Jan.
Jo, that dog is spoiled! :)
I hope E continues to progress Jen.
Bad shoulder / arm pain kept me awake for hours last night. I feel like something the cat dragged in.
Never mind, onwards and upwards.
Daughter cooked us a lovely meal last night; we know we are lucky having family so close.
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it’s overcast and bitterly cold again - on our central heating console it is showing 14 degrees, in the winter I consider 15 to be time to put the heating on  No plan whatsoever for the day, very hard to motivate yourself when it is miserable outside and supposed to be Spring. No doubt I’ll find something to do though. Glad E is feeling so much better.

Morning all

Sending tons of vibes Kaz.....

Another nippy day here - but dry. Actually (dare I say this) a bit too dry..... if night time temps were a bit higher I'd be watering the pots, but don't want to risk them freezing overnight.
Still meant to be on leave... have done the morning email check and answering and about to head out to Sainsbury's, the animal feed shop for chicken and cat stuff and then meeting Nadine.

Not much else going on - still haven't caught up with everyone's posts  oops!

Have a good day everyone, vibes for those that need them

stay warm everyone (or rather stay cool in your case Ally and Jan :D ) xx

Osc, please tell me you've got the heating on !!!!! My system is one that is on all year round; so when the inside temperature drops under 18 it kicks on, regardless of time of year.
