Lovely sunrise, I was in the front bedroom, so was able to watch it.

Supposed to have rain today - that was supposed to happen yesterday too, but didn't - but the sun is out, so we'll just have to wait and see.

Saundra, cold here as well and dull and grey. Expecting rain today which, dare I say, will actually be quite welcome. It's been very very dry. I will have to water the pots very soon if it doesn't rain, but because the overnight temperatures for tonight and tomorrow are below 0 I don't want to risk the water freezing and the pots bursting so everything will just have to wait until Monday

Not sure what I'm going to be doing today - depending on the weather I may head to the allotment and do some weeding, otherwise it'll be general pootling

Morning everyone.

Thanks Ally, and everyone who has wished Marina's dad well. Unfortunately he passed away last evening. He was a very active man for his age, as is her mum, and up until the pandemic they were travelling often, walking, gardening, so he would have absolutely hated being prevented by bad health from being able all of those things. Hence him insisting on the DNR. He was a lovely man, very kind and patient with Harry when we went to Cyprus for Phil and Marina's wedding. RIP John.

Sorry to hear about M's dad Kaz, best wishes to her family.

Think the rain's due to last all day so unless it clears up, it doesn't look as though we'll be getting a walk today. Nothing much planned just general pottering.
