Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 26 Apr 2021, 06:19

Good morning.

Warm and sunny.

Been for a quick run and now enjoying a coffee. :D

Off to los Patios later for a bit of a spree. I need a new hand blender and the one I want is in Carre Four. There's lots of other shops there too including C&A.

Reading and a swim this afternoon.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally and Cruiser, morning everyone

Enjoy the shopping spree Ally; hope you get everything you're loooking for - and then enjoy the afternoon by the pool
Cruiser - enjoy your gardening later today. Sadly no sunshine here - nippy wind and grey skies instead. The sun is trying very hard, but not really succeeding.

For me it's the usual mix of work and pootling.... I've got a few bags of weeds at the allotment so I'll pop round there to get them home and put into the garden bin here at home before the promised rain starts (tomorrow hopefully) and doing school pick

Have a lovely day everyone xx

Morning everyone

Cloudy, sunny with more rain forecast :Hi: Never thought I'd do a :Hi: :Hi: to rain 8-) Quite warm though.

Late start after a disturbed nights sleep, as Grumpy was dive bombed by a mozzie, so we had to move to another room and then it took ages to get to sleep

Now showered and on my second coffee. Nothing to do today, can't do any washing, as we're on yellow alert for rain. Suppose I could always leave it on the line and it would be well rinsed

Enjoy your shopping Ally, we're planning on a days jolly in a week or so.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all.
A sunny morning here but chilly. Like Cruiser says though, it should warm up in a bit. Have a good time at the shops Ally. :)
It's true we haven't had much rain this month Ria. It doesn't seem two minutes since all the fields around here were waterlogged though. It sounds like the rain is needed where you are too Jan.
This morning we are going to the bank to try and progress another step with probate for FiL's will.
After that a quick trot around Aldi and B&M on the way home. Beef stew for tea tonight, we had quite a bit left over from Sunday dinner.
Our son and his gf came over and brought their black labrador, Fred. Fred has a lovely gentle nature, but he is not the sharpest knife in the drawer; he managed to get himself stuck under the dining table and had to be rescued by MrsC. We still can't work out how he managed it.
Have a great day everyone.

Morning all, it’s quite sunny here and mild.

It’s a delivery day today - Hermes, Amazon and the trees we bought on Saturday are being delivered too.

John’s on his first day of furlough. Funny how their industry works. Last Tuesday he interviewed a new staff member to start in May as they’re set to be very busy, now the big contract they’re working on is held up as it can’t go any further without some paperwork signing off. It’s currently in a queue with the legal department of the company which they’re doing the work for, there’s no way of knowing how long that’ll take as they’re backlogged due to Covid so they’ve come to a standstill.
He’s on his third episode of Top Gear :|

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny, but I don't think it's very warm.

Expecting a Tesco delivery this afternoon, also Boots with meds for E. He received a letter from our GP saying his blood tests show he's low in folic acid so a prescription was sent direct to the chemist. The same thing happened last summer, he took them with him when he went in for his failed op last September, but the hospital stopped them, they said he didn't need them and to be fair they did more than enough blood tests then. Oh well he'll take the full course this time round and see how things are when they check him again in 6 months time.

Providing it isn't too late by the time everything's arrived we'll be off out for our walk. There are a few benches along the clifftop so if my ankle is too sore I'll sit and watch. He's only taking one crutch today so we'll see how far he manages, of course the trick is to make sure he remembers he's got to walk the same distance back ;)

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all, a gorgeous day here. We’ve just been walking on the pier, met people we know so had nice chats. I went to the post office earlier and also met people I knew, so plenty of chatting happening today! Golf courses open today so I’ll be dropping Edward to his club shortly for his first game in almost five months. They are only allowed play in twos for the time being. Children's sports are back today too, so at last Michael and Kellie can back to soccer and tennis. After leaving Edward to golf, I’ll do some ironing, might as well keep it up to date. Cruiser, you are lucky to have the charity shops open, they are still closed here.

Evening everyone :)

I thought I'd posted earlier, but I got distracted by a phone call and forgot to come back to press send :cute:

Quick rundown of my day! Met Em for a cuppa outside Starbucks, then a wander round B&M and The Range together - lovely, as I hadn't seen her since Christmas :) Then up to D's as Dan and Nik managed to get here, no traffic problems today! Gosh, little Poppy has grown - she'll be 3 in June  :D I bought her a Pepper Pig book, which I had to read for her twice :D I've just finished a Zumba class, so am a bit cream crackered, it's been a busy day!

Love to all xxx
