Nicola Sturgeon versus Alex Salmond - I was quite looking forward to this but it never happened.

I found it quite pleasing that Salmond did fail completely, to be honest ...... I hope Sturgeon will be more pragmatic over independence.

You hav no chance Ossie. As far as she is concerned the coalition partners are Indyref2 in their manifesto and Sturgeon sees this as a mandate for a referendum by a wide margin. As it is partially PR based,. She has a point.

Expect, a lot of noise and the courts to be involved unless Westminster capitulates.

Im not voting this time and that now removes 2 No votes as Mrs S is not voting either. My vote changed because Scotland does not need to be run by that woman and does not need the Greens setting defence agenda.

It will provide reams of press mileage though, perhaps it will take some of the focus off Covid. It is another case of giving the press a free ride for years.
