We bought a new patio table and chairs this year and it looked lovely out there, it’s now been put back in the garage until the weather improves

Oh dear, what will he do next?

Sat at the the front of the house, to get a little breeze, before the bbq and noticed the prat painting  outside

It's over 30C in the shade, paint skims over at less than that temperature. He then spent the next couple of hours, happily getting up and down the scaffolding, moving it along, painting away at the outside of the house - using a brush  :?

Well, I suppose he's entertaining if nothing else.

The little fire lighters are out in force already

13 fires in Portugal today, with a load of aircraft being deployed too.

And it's not even hot yet

Going on from the not hot yet.......

We sat at the front of the house, as the glass windows make it a little too hot, when the sun is on them.

As the wind got up a little, we had dinner sat at the back. Not bad, said Grumpy, what's the temperature? 27 and an 'arf, I said. 80F.

Felt quite comfortable, think we've been here too long

Aren’t you the lucky ones in Portugal. Here in Wicklow, the house was so cold when we arrived that we were sitting wrapped up in rugs to have our lunch - the temperature on the heating thermostat was 13 degrees  However it did heat up eventually and the rain has stopped. Forecast better for tomorrow. The drive down was pretty hairy, constant rain with loads of spray being thrown up constantly.

Not pleasant for you Osc. We have 13 at night at the moment.

But you have a great time, whatever the weather, I envy you, being able to see and help family xx
