Seriously unimpressed with the vets :cute: :cute:

She sent an e-mail just before 1.00 saying she would let me know how Molly is, but she was in Ourique and Molly was in Beja. She would contact the hospital and get back to me soon.

At 5.00, I rang the vet's phone in the surgery. No answer. Tried again every half hour, checking e-mail.

Nada.

Then got a phone call just before 7.00 for her to say she has been with a client - well, so am I a client :cute: - and she would ring Beja and get back to me.

I'm still waiting.....................

They open at 10.00 tomorrow, I'll be on the phone. Not that they'll be open at 10.00, more like 10.15. The Portuguese don't do "on time".

Should have gone to Castro Verde, where we've been before, but a couple of friends recommended this one and it's a lot nearer.

I've just spent an hour, listening to a concert held in Ourique, Alentejana type music. Not to everyone's taste and to be honest, I've heard better, but still enjoyable.

Rather annoyed. Just not knowing how she is.

Oh well, tomorrow, no doubt will bring a phone call and a large bill

That is poor service.
I hope that Molly is back home soon and that the bill isn't too bad Jan.

Just had an e-mail to day that she has had something to eat, no vomiting etc and I can collect her tomorrow morning at the vet's in Ourique at 11.30. Just about right, as I have my second jab at 10.30, so with the half hour wait, should get there in time.

But I will mention I'm not impressed.

That’s really poor Jan. I hope that despite the poor customer service, the vet’s got Molly on the road to recovery xx

Ah just seen this, so ignore my question on the daily thread ;) That is pretty poor communication, but hopefully Molly will be ok now xxx
