Morning Al, Cruiser and all.

It’s very sunny here. I’ve just hung some washing out and John’s gone for a run. He’s going to walk Bill when he gets back, I don’t like going alone at the weekend as there are too many out of control dogs around which have probably been shut in the house for hours every day for the rest of the week.

We’ll have an early lunch before heading off to Birmingham for the afternoon. I need to get Shannon’s birthday present for Thursday, she loves Lush so I’ll get her a selection of things from there. It’s also Amanda’s birthday a few days later but Joe’s suggested a gift card for the designer outlet so I’ll have a walk down there later in the week.

It’s one in, one out today. Tom’s going to stay at Shannon’s until tomorrow and Amanda’s staying here tonight.

Best wishes to Frank x

Have a good day all :D

Good morning all.
The sun hasn't got here yet, it's a bit chilly. Son is attending his mate's wedding this afternoon so hopefully it will brighten up before then.
After that he is going to Leeds Bradford airport to fly down to Newquay to join his gf and her parents for a week's holiday.
Our son in law (a police officer) had a long shift yesterday. He was supposed to finish at 2am but didn't get home until 5am. He had to go to a stabbing in a nearby town and ended up giving the bloke medical attention, then riding in the ambulance with him to hospital.
He is one of the police who actually does the job. He's been doing it nearly twenty years though now, imo if he could get a desk job or get a sergeant's job it would be better for him. He's put a lot of years in on response.
Roast chicken for dinner and the motorbike racing this afternoon.
Have a good day all.

Morning all :)

Mick and I are out for a cuppa, and to pick up a newspaper :) We're going round to D's later, for a late lunch, as J and J are up from Weymouth :D Not seen them in many months, so that will be lovely :)

Ally your day sounds perfect :) xx

Enjoy your gardening Cruiser :) xx

Have a good afternoon in Birmingham Jo :) xx

Crommers he has my utmost respect - I'm sure you and his mum must worry about him, I know D did about Mick's brother when he was a policeman xx

Take care everyone :) xx

I know a sergeant in the police. He has passed his exams to become an Inspector. Refuses to be promoted as he says it gets very poitical the higher you go.

He hopes to retire in about three years time. Says it can't come soon enough. Never see a policemn on foot in the centre of town. Even the enquiry desk at the
main police station is only open at certain times.

Hope you had a good night WM xx

Silly me I overdid it a bit gardening yesterday, I never learn, won't be doing anything too strenuous today. Roast chicken for dinner later, vanilla blancmange with lime and lemon jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

I was sure I had posted here this morning  It’s been another gorgeous day. We sat in the sun this morning, then - joy oh joy, dancing in the park was back! Not too many there, but we knew most of them so apart from doing some dancing, we had a lovely sociable time in beautiful weather. We’ve eaten, so I’d better go and tidy up the kitchen.

I'm back :Hi: :Hi:

Nightmare of a day with no internet. tried so many things/times to sort it.

Rang meo - waste of time on a Sunday, but rang half an hour ago and got it all sorted. No idea what the problem was, but hey ho.

Cool this morning, sunny later and we had a day off. Did bugger all, all day, apart from eat, drink and then eat more

Molly is doing the same, never known her eat so much, but she's fine, back to her normal self :Hi: :Hi:

bedtime soon, night all xx
