Good morning Saundra and anybody else who is up.

It is dull and it looks a if it could rain.
Waiting for an engineer to come and fix the washing machine. Have got an error message which is not in the Instruction manual.
Had a text to say he will be here between 7.00 a.m and 10.00 a.m. He will phone when he gets close.

Then just pootling. Having a visitor this afternoon. So will have to dust and vacuum the lounge.
No rest for the wicked!!
Maybe this should be on another thread, but I now have two lovely white roses out at the back. The rose is "Silver Wedding" bought as a present when
it was our aniversary.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning Saundra, Cruiser and everyone

it was really foggy earlier  but now all gone and the sun is out 8-) Not quite as hot as it's been lately today, back to near normal temperatures, thankfully.

Love roses Cruiser. I bought six small one's recently and they're all blooming :Hi: Hope you get the washing machine sorted.

Cleaning this morning, before it gets too hot then doing not a lot.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all, it’s dull and muggy here too Saundra.

Just waiting for the Tesco delivery and the washing machine is doing it’s stuff, that shouldn’t take long to dry today!

Happy Birthday to Don! :Hi:

Have a good day all :D

Good morning everyone

Saundra, enjoy your day pootling in the garden
Cruiser, I love roses too - I've also got two white ones; I just love how they stand out when it starts going dark at night
Jan, enjoy doing your bits and bobs and then relaxing - hopefully time for a swim for you?
Ally, happy birthday to Don - hope you have a fabulous day x
Jo, hope Tesco doesn't keep you waiting too long

A odd start to the day here, quite dull and grey which is keeping it fairly cool. I've been to the allotment to water and will do some garden bits today in between the usual working. Perfect weather for potting up plants.

Have a lovely day all xx

Morning all, it’s quite dull here. I’m just back after following a funeral to the church, a local artist and neighbour, he was 91. It’s tradition here to carry locals from a certain point to the church, but I think they decided not to do that today, so we all walked behind the hearse. Edward was with me and then he went off to play golf. On the way back, I met someone I knew and we had a lovely chat. Shortly I’ll go and order dinner from next door, then meet up with two friends for our Friday walk and chat.

Cruiser, I also love roses and yellow ones are my favourite. When Miss Osc started doing exams, Edward always had a yellow rose in a vase for her on the first day, which was usually the day after our June bank holiday, that was last weekend. Even now, he always takes a picture of the first rose and sends it to her.

Good morning again.

The engineer who came to service the washing machine phoned me at 7.38 to say he would be with me in a few minutes. Plug his test equiment in and ran the washer.
He could not find any fault. Said he had reset some of the programmes. Stayed while one of the short washes completed its cycle.
Made notes on his tablet during the test.
He left about 8.40 a.m. satisfied that the washer is working correctly. So I have now done a load which I wanted to do yesterday.
Have had an email to say I do not owe anything.
Very good service.

Good morning... just.

Coudy and muggy like a few of us seem to have.

HB to Don.

Not much on... again. I might just pack a few sarnies and go for a drive and a walk.

See you all later. Stay safe.

Morning all :D

Lovely sunny day, hope it stays that way, it clouded over yesterday afternoon and became a tad chilly :?

Ally happy birthday to Don.
Glad you got the washer fixed Cruiser. Love roses, I expect your white one holds lots of lovely memories xx

Washing day and the dreaded bed change. That's more than enough for me, in between running in/out to the machine, I plan to laze in the garden with my kindle.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx
