Maybe I was wrong about ET.

I am just reading that a study from the Carl Sagan Institute at Cornell University has identified 1,715 stars, some with probable Earth like planets, that have an unobstructed view of us. That is the sort of view we have of exoplanets as they move past their stars and from those views we can read their atmospheres, so anything out there can also read ours.

Not only that, but we have been sending out "readable" TV and radio signals for over 100 years. They put us at the centre of a 200 lightyear diameter bubble easily detectable from out there. We have not yet found anything in our bubble but it grows with every breath we take.

If anyone out there has noticed that our planet looks very much like their own "Earth 2.0" then one day our signals will also reach them and it's "Game On!!". The same is true in reverse. We might not be able to meet any time soon, but we would certainly be able to communicate.
