Good Morning Sunday

Postby cruiser2 » 25 Jul 2021, 05:57

Good orning everybody,

The sun is coming out again so it is going to get warm. Have been for the paper, now going to have breakfast.
Then will just be pootling, probably spending some time in the garden.

Vibes & hugs for Ally and her family.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning Cruiser, morning everyone

Dull, grey, cool and not very nice at all  Weird summer we're having.

Pootling today, watching some of the Olympics maybe and that's about it for the day.

Thoughts for Ally, dad and family xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning everyone :)

Have a good pootle Cruiser xx

Jan our weather is bonkers too, from well over 30 just a couple of days ago, down to high teens today if we're lucky. Rain and storms threatened :cute:  xx

Thoughts with Ally xxx

Mick and I are down at Corretto's having breakfast. We've left Fraggle at home with Becky, who was having a lie-in. I've pegged some bedding out, so hope the forecast rain holds off until later. Em and Dave might join us in a while, but Em will message me if they're coming.

We're going to have a look at beds afterwards, there is a Benson's on the Peel Centre which is just next door to the Quays. Our bed is about 15 years old, and the once beautifully comfortable memory form mattress has definitely had its day! I fancy a divan with integral headboard and storage underneath. Salad for dinner later, as I have lots of bits and pieces left over from Thursday.

Have a good day everyone xx

Morning all :D

Grey with showers here

Thoughts are with Ally and family xx

E's neck is still not right, but it's a bit better than yesterday so he'll have another day taking it easy. I won't be doing much either, roast chicken with salad for dinner later, vanilla blancmange with lemon and lime jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day xx

We've bought one with an iGel mattress, and a lift-up ottoman base, heaps of storage.

Jen, what's the situation with physio round your way? Here we can directly refer ourselves to the GRH physio department - or at least you could before the pandemic....

I'm looking at bed frames too.....but I procrastinate over everything, so looking is as far as I have got  I fancied one with a cushioned head board but our mattress isn't very old and it's so comfy I don't really want to change that yet. Was yours expensive Kaz?

We have a lot of cloud again here, although it's warmer than it was yesterday. We've been down to Wynyard country park for a walk and a snack.....they're hosting a wedding today, I overheard one of the guys saying there were 500 guests coming   There must also be a monthly farmers market which we had a quick look round, I resisted the cakes and biscuits on sale 8-)

Just relaxing now....we should be rights have been at the caravan (and apparently it's gorgeous and sunny there!! ) but D is there for the fortnight and it's the middel weekend so we're not scheduled to be there until 6th August - hopefully it will remain sunny 8-)

Tom went to the hospital yesterday for an MRI scan on his shoulder....now awaiting the results of that.

500 guests, wow!!

Yes, it was expensive, but as we're both a bit achey these days - me with my hip and neck, and Mick with his knee and ankle - we decided to "invest" ;) Our old bed is 15 years old! Well the mattress is, the base much older!

Good luck to Tom for his results xx

I am after new pillows.
Saw some on one of the shopping channels witha partial silk fibre filling.
But will wait till I can get to Boundary Mill and have a lok at theirs. I like a hard pillow.

Beds are OK. They have drawers in them. Got new mattresses about four years ago.
