If the Taliban say no.....

Postby Workingman » 24 Aug 2021, 17:49

... then what can Bojo, Bido, Macro and Merko do?

They can make all the "demands" they like, but for the present they are not in charge: the Taliban are.

The West is wanting an airport and a few land routes for evacuations to remain open after the 31st, but how can they enforce them? And what if those at the other side of these borders do not want the Afghans: what then?

These politicians in their well lit, centrally heated or air-conditioned offices, with their free bottled drinks and sandwiches are living in a fantasy land.

The pull-out date has been known since February and yet they have left it till the last few weeks to do anything practical. Now they have the gall to blame the Taliban for their mess. They are the architects of the scenes the MSM bombards us with every minute of the day and yet the MSM never questions them as to "Why?".

If the Taliban say "no", the only person who could do anything about it would be Biden, because in the US Armed Forces, he has the means and the logistics. But he doesn't have the will to send 50,000 troops into Kabul to secure the airport, take on and defeat the Taliban there, and evacuate all who want to leave.

Every other country is impotent, which makes all the posturing this afternoon a waste of time.

We will now spend the next 10 years propping up the Taliban regime on the grounds of "humanitarian aid" whilst they train terrorists and export them around the world.

A complete mess, made in the USA.

Now why am I not so sure? Down hundreds of years the Mongols, British Empire, Russians and the 'Allies' have al tried, and failed, and all with more than 50,000 troops.

The only people who can solve this are the Afghans themselves, if they want to. The world is kidding itself that this can be solved from outside and by 'negotiation'.

The Taliban want to take Afghanistan back to the Islam of the 7th century because they are Salafists by nature. Two faced, of course, because they turn their backs on the modern world, allegedly, yet are prepared to use modern weapons, not swords, and technology, the Internet, mobiles, GPS etc, to promote their beliefs.

The Western politicians are deluded onlookers.

Well the Mongols didn't fail. However their recipe for success was the normal Mongo excess.

After Genghis Khan returned to Mongolia, there was a rebellion in the region of Helmand which was brutally put down by his son and successor, Ogedei Khan, who put all male residents of Ghazni and Helmand to the sword in 1222; the women were enslaved and sold. Thereafter most parts of Afghanistan other than the extreme south-eastern remained under Mongol rule as part of the Ilkhanate and Chagatai Khanate.

There you go, jobs a goodun. Problem solved....

Except, we're the good guys right? We can't murder every male and enslave and sell off the women.

But it appears that this is the only way to subdue Afghanistan.
There are 10 types of people in the world:
Those who understand Binary and those who do not.
