Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 25 Aug 2021, 04:40

Good morning.

Another extremely busy day on the cards.

Apart from a gazillion ton of paperwork to plough through we've now cleared out two full rooms in the house, had the estate agents round, video and photos taken and today it goes on sale.

The speed of things is leaving me stunned but there's no choice really. :(

We're collecting dad's ashes at 2pm today.

It seems to be a never ending round of heartbreak at the moment.

Good morning Ally,

It may be slightly different in Scotland, but I know there were many organisations to notify including insurance companies who paid her private pensions.
The sun is out and it should get warm. Going shopping and will do more gardening this afternoon.

Have a good day everybody

Morning everyone

Misty start and pleasantly cool 8-)

It's a nightmare, isn't it Ally? Just take each hour, each day at a time.

A friends mum recently died and she also had a nightmare clearing stuff out and it made us both think. So when I'm more mobile, I'm clearing house here, as much as I can. I don't want Julia to have to go through what I had to, clearing my parents stuff.

Gentle morning, then off to the centro de saude this afternoon, for more stitches/staples out. The top one's are pulling like mad, so some of those will probably go. Will have a pit-stop at the bar on the way back.

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

It's not a nice job Ally, a very emotional time for you xx
I'm sure Scarlett will be thrilled with her new bracelet Saundra, the perfect present for a little girl.
Good luck having more stitches/staples out Jan. hope it's not too traumatic.

We were up extra early as the dishwasher man is due. They said we'd get a call at 8.30 with a time slot, only just had the call, could have had more time in bed!! She says he'll be here between 12-2pm, fingers crossed he can fix it. Bit worried as the firm who came out last time have subtracted the contract out to the one coming today. I checked their reviews and it's very mixed. Nothing in between either, 5 stars or 1, quite a few of the latter, guess we'll just have to wait and see.

No other plans, we'll be playing catch up with the Paralympics later. We've already got medals including a Gold, go Team GB

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon everyone.

Ally, I do so feel for you, it's a very emotional job (((((x)))))

I'm on the bus, going to get my hair cut. I've been out all day, met my friend J for a cuppa this morning, then lunch at D's and as the bus goes from the top of her road it wasn't worth going home first. Getting lots chopped off this time we I'm bored with the same old bob! Zumba again tonight.

Love to everyone :) xxx

Got a bit of an infection  so Dr Paulo came to have a look and I'm to take different AB's, once the current lot finish. And back again on Friday for Carla to have a look and change the dressing. back before, if it leaks

Sat outside, watching idiot, with a water, Grumpy having a beer.
