Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 06 Sep 2021, 05:48

Good morning.

That's me in Nottingham now for a couple of weeks.

Craig's got some lovely things planned for us but for today I'm doing absolutely nothing but chilling out in his garden.

After two months of non stop busyness I'm looking forward to some down time.

Have a good day.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Good luck to Crommers, hope things go smoothly.
Saundra lovely for you to see Scarlett, glad she had a great birthday.

Here we go again, the dishwasher engineer is due today, but as we should have had a phone call by 9.30am to let us know when he will arrive it's not looking too promising. It's exactly a month since it broke down, totally fed up with it now.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good morning everybody,
The little drawer where you put the washing powder etc which pulls out on the washing machine had jammed. So this morning wnt to the local store we bought it from. They also do servicing. One of the engineers said he had a cancelation and would be with me within an hour. So I had to change my plans and get home.
He had eot take the top off the machine to release the drawer. Showed me what I had done wrong. Cost £30.00 but worth it.

Now going to have some lunch and then pootling. May mow the lawn.
Have a good day everybody.

Afternoon all, it’s a glorious day here, very warm too. I was at the gym this morning, I was “glowing” by the end of class  Treated myself to a new pair of leggings. I’ll see where the rest of the day takes me.

Afternoon all, it’s too hot and humid here.

I haven’t been around much lately, I’m hoping that’ll change now that John and Tom are back at work after their time off. Having said that, it’s 3.30pm and I’m only just checking in.

I wish I could say it’s been a productive day but it hasn’t. I had a dentist appointment this morning, made some weeks ago for a check up, so I had to take two buses to get there only to find that my appointment had been cancelled. They said they’d called my mobile on Friday and left a message but I looked (and subsequently showed the manager my phone) and there were no calls from them at all. Even so, they’ve also got my email address so why did they not drop me an email if I hadn’t answered my phone, just to be sure? They offered me an appointment next month, that was the earliest availability, but I argued my case that they’d obviously messed up so should slot me in seeing as I was there (and it’d taken me an hour to get there) so eventually they did. It wasn’t as though they were short of staff as they have two rooms and both were in use with two dentists working.
By the time I got home I’d been out for almost four hours and the dentist is only 4 miles away.

Hope all goes well for Crommers today x

Have a good day all :D

No phone call, but the engineer turned up just after 1pm, sadly with the wrong part!! So annoying, probably means another 2 week wait...........
