Good Morning Wednesday

Postby JanB » 29 Sep 2021, 07:35

Morning everyone

Sunny morning, but dear me, that's a cold north wind

Off to Ourique after breakfast, for the joy that is Pingo. Also need to go to the Chinese shop, to get some loose trousers. I've had to throw out two pairs, as the lassy went  Well, 5 euros and 3 years isn't bad. So a couple more pairs and some other stuff.

Back to do not a lot. If we're not too late, might get the ironing out of the way. Might leave it until tomorrow

Making a chilli for Grumpy and I'll have something else for dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Jan and all, it’s sunny here at the moment although we seem to be having heavy showers.

I walked Bill inbetween showers and got back in time to see Joe before college, we needed to make plans for meeting up later. We’re off to Manchester after college so I’ll get a bus into Stafford and meet him there. He’s not sure what time he’ll finish though, last week he was home around 5 although he’s timetabled to finish at 6pm and it’s an 8pm kick off so it’ll be tight if he’s not out until then (and you can bet it’ll be this week that his tutor sticks to the timetable).

Jan, you definitely can’t grumble about those trousers

Have a good day all :D

Good morning all.
A lovely sunny morning but definitely autumnal now; it is chilly first thing.
Steve the decorator is here to do the kitchen. I'm going to shoot off for a walk.
Enjoy the match Jo and Jan, that is what you call value!

good morning all :)

Jo, fingers crossed Joe makes it out on time and you get to the match on time.
Crommers don't overdo the walk ;-) How are you getting on?
Jan, definitely excellent value there. Hope you find some more like that and get everything else done you want / need to

Well a lovely sunny start to the day here as well and meant to be like it all day - but as Crommer said, definitely autumnal. A usual / usual for me... need to pop to the post office at some point and then a 5pm appointment this evening to have my eyebrows done - can't go on holiday looking like a Neanderthal

Also going to try sort out the gate to the chicken run today; I bought another automatic opening door that needs to be installed - having that hopefully means I won't have to take the girls to chicken hotel when I go away. Their coop should be secure enough, but I'd quite like the run to be secure as well. When I'm home I open and close the gate myself, but I can't expect anyone to be here at 7am and again 8pm every day just for the gate.

Hope everyone has a lovely day x

Morning all, it’s sunny but chilly, there has been such a change in temperature levels here the last few days :( Edward has gone to the health centre to get his 6-monthly B6 jab. I’m going to the gym this morning, then bringing Edward to the dentist this afternoon to have stitches removed and impressions taken - he’ll get his implants when we get back from holiday. The car passed the NCT yesterday, it’s always a relief!

Glad the car passed Osc, always a worry.

Got two pairs, one still 5€ but the other one cost 8.50€ Rather smart though and as Grumpy wasn't with me, I bought them

He's off watering the pots and new trees then take the pool cover off and add salt. I'll make his chilli and then just sit and read 8-)

When are you off Ria?

Good afternoon everybody.

Sunshine and showers. Am dusting polishing and vacuuming this afternoon. Could see a layer of dust on the shelf the TV sits on.

Am having trouble logging on to order repeat pescriptions. The surgery scanged the web site in June. Tried to log on in July but no success.
Went to the surgery who cancelled the original application which had worked without any problems. Trued i August even changed my password.
But I could not log in. So surgery had to order repat pescriptions.
Tried again on Sunday but again could not log in. So wnet to surgery who said they would send information by email.
Have now got two lists. Along one with names and a short one with numbers but no instructions.
Went to surgery this morning. It is shut for deep cleaning.
So another journey tomorrow to tyr and sort it.Why is life now so complicated.
I have just got the knack of sharpening a quill pen!!

Glad the nurse came Saundra, and I hope the B12 soon kicks in :) xx

I met my friend J for a cuppa this morning, did a bit of window shopping, popped into D's, and have been home a little while now. Zuma tonight, although I might give it a miss as my back is swinging

Love to all :) xx
