Good afternoon all.
It's been a grey day here but not cold.
I'm late on parade today, my laptop has developed a Bad Attitude.
I've made a beef stew today, it smells really nice.
We've had a bit of news; our neighbour Sergio who is suffering from lung cancer is going into a hospice on Monday. Not unexpectedly, but it's still sad.
MrsC is going to the Remembrance service tomorrow, one of her relatives was killed in WW1.
Son is playing a gig tonight; he's currently playing guitar in a swing band, they are pretty good.
I hope you have enjoyed your days.

Oh boy have I made a horlicks.

I was about to do a shop and was talking to the n-d-n when Cheryl from down the road walks up. We are all chatting when I ask her about him in doors.

He only died of cancer - lung and up to the brain - in mid September.

I just disintegrated. I had no idea. We were not besties, but we would sit out on the green in summer, cricket or tennis on the radio, oldies doing oldie things.

It happend so quickly. One minute he was fine, then the diagnosis, and then he was gone - not much more than a week.

Afternoon everyone :)

Glad you got to see Scarlett and J, Saundra! :D xx

Crommers, I’m so sorry to hear about Sergio :( xx

That was a lovely surprise Ally :D xx

Busy day here. SW meeting for B and I first thing, both of us managed a maintain, then the four of us, with Fraggle in tow, had breakfast at Corretto’s :) Afterwards we went to the new big Next, on the Peel Centre nearby, to get Harry a new suit for the family wedding down in Dorset in a fortnight’s time. We found a nice one. Now he only needs shoes, but as he’s a 13 that will take a bit of searching  Off to D’s after that for a while, then home via Sainsbury’s for yet more bread and milk :? We’ve spent most of the afternoon sorting out paperwork and I’ve made chilli 8-)

Some eejits have just started setting off fireworks :x :cute:

Love to all xx
