Good morning Friday

Good morning.

Lovely weather. 8-)

More exploring round Granada. It's so steeped in history and a beautiful place.

We'll have lunch with Jacob then get the train home.

Friday beers and tapas with our friends tonight.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Cloudy this morning and we're in for a weather change over the next few days. Wet stuff and clouds, much warmer at night though

Glad you've had a lovely time Ally, enjoy the train :Hi:

Off to Ourique this morning, to get a few things we need. Not that we didn't spend enough yesterday   just a few extras ;)

Back for breakfast, then I'll get the cleaning out of the way. I'd like to finish off the last large flower bed, before the rain tomorrow. No idea what Grumpy is doing, probably not a lot, as one of his knees is causing him problems, as in very painful.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you two, and everyone :)

Enjoy the ride home Ally, I love trains 8-) 8-) xx

Don't spend too much Jan ;) I hope Grumpy's knee is better soon xx

Another busy day in prospect here. Harry has a meeting at the Job Centre and is allowed someone with him, so I am going too. Then I have a dress to return to Primark - too big! :D  Will swap it for a smaller size 8-) Doreen's dress watch needs a new battery, so I'll take it to the stall in the market where they replace them.

Have a good day :) :) xx

Good morning all.
A nice sunny start to the day here.
I like trains too; they are a very civilized way to travel.
A trip to the supermarket soon to do the weekend shop.
A pigeon flew into our living room window yesterday; we have a great big greasy pigeon shaped mark on it now; the window cleaner only came last Monday!
No reaction at all from yesterday's booster jab. I'm convinced that they are giving me distilled water!
Have a good day all.

Morning all - happy Friday :Hi:

Ouch Jan, poor Grumpy - he doesn't let much stop him so that knee really must be painful :(
Ally, glad you had a good time, Granada sounds amazing - sounds like a place I should add to my list of places to visit
Good luck for Harry and hope you manage to get the bits done you need to Kaz
Crommers, good that you've had no side effects - I'm hoping to get my booster this Sunday; need to reconfirm with Nadine
Cruiser, hope the fencing guy turns up soon

As for trains, I do love them as a mode of transport and but after far too many years of daily commuting short journeys do sort of lose their appeal

Well, I've been to the vet with one of my cats for his annual booster. For some reason they had booked me in at the wrong branch so thankfully were able to fit me in. Now back home, about to make some brunch and then a usual day of work / pootle mix.

Weather dependent, the weekend will be a busy outdoor one - need to sort out the beds at the allotment, give the chicken run area good tidy and replace the stuff on the floor and also try get more tidying done in the garden. So advance apologies that I probably won't be online ;)

Have a lovely day everyone x

Morning all, it’s a nice bright one here. Edward has gone to play golf and I’m just going to potter around getting stuff ready for our trip to Budapest on Wednesday. I had booked to go to the gym but cancelled yesterday as I didn’t really fancy it. Michael was thrilled with his birthday present yesterday and he never really does “thrilled” or excitement generally. He enjoyed his takeaway pizza and then a milkshake from the ice cream shop next door, plus a slice of the cake Edward made. Today is actually his birthday, I remember it well! The years are going by too quickly :? Dancing tonight :)

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast

Enjoy your last day in Granada Ally.
Poor Grumpy, hope his knee eases x
Kaz good luck at the Job Centre with Harry.
Hope the fencing contractor turns up on time Cruiser.
Glad you haven't had any side effects from the booster Crommers.
Your day sounds busy Ria.
Happy Birthday Michael, they certainly do grow up quickly Osc, I often wonder where the years have gone.

It's washing day here, E's doing the loading and unloading, I'm in charge of the folding. We're quite good at team work, mother always used to say we were like a well oiled machine although it definitely takes a bit more oil these days  He's pacing himself and leaving the bed change until tomorrow 8-) We're expecting a Sainsbury's order between 1-2pm and that's about as exciting as it gets.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Happy birthday to Michael :Hi: :Hi:

Best of luck for Harry today Kaz xx

The weeding is almost done - I've done all the big flower beds now and just got the smaller one's to do, but they can wait. My back and knee (it came out in sympathy with Grumpy's knee  ) His is just age  , mine is bending over ;)

The sun is out, but the wind is quite strong, but not cold.
