Morning Ally, morning everyone

Mild but slightly damp this morning  No rain forecast, but everywhere is wet out there

I'm also off out for a walk. Off with Jan, Chris, Max and Archie.

Back for breakfast and then the washing machine will be on, hopefully. Grumpy is to do the vacuuming and mopping in my absence 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Enjoy your chilling out Ally :) xx

Jan, good planning there ;) Have a great time :D xx

Back to normal here. Meeting Em later this morning, but first I have something to get dry, then more to put through. Harry's new job starts tomorrow with an induction shift, and B is on a "late" today, so doubt I will see much of them before I go out

Need to resize my wedding photos so I can post them on the photo board later :)

It's very frosty out so it will be cold out there today but that's far better than windy and wet 8-) Not sure about Zumba tonight, will see how I feel later.

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Thoroughly enjoyable walk, through forests and along tracks, saw loads of wild boar tracks  along a dry stream, few hills - up and down   - and then back. An hour and 26 minutes, 4.4kms an hour, 6.7kms and used up a shed load of calories

Cloudy still and not that warm, but no wind, so not feeling too cold.

Keep warm over there x

Good morning all.
Lying in bed this morning I was listening to the crunching of car tyres on the snow and ice, thinking I'm glad I don't have to go to work on a freezing morning like this.
Very cold, lots of snow and ice about; the road outside and the paths look treacherous.
Some leaves on the trees are still coming down; it's a strange thing to see fallen leaves on the snow. Winter has nudged it's way into autumn.
Very little doing today. We may go for a paper but may not. Apart from that there's no reason for us to go out so we won't.
Apparently it might thaw tonight.
Have a good day everyone, stay warm.

Morning all, it’s grey and damp here. I’m a bit tired after the Gary Barlow concert last night - it didn’t end late but we took our time strolling back to the car as there were some lovely Christmassy lights, then it took ages to get out of the car park. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, we don’t often get mum and daughter time, we had a nice meal and then the concert. It felt great to be at a concert, singing and dancing, even with our masks on. I have loads to do today, washing, ironing etc., trying to figure out where to start, better get going. Saundra, I like the sound of your day, can I come over

Good morning and happy Monday everyone

A cold day here today; it was -3 over night and today isn't expected to go much above 2 or so apparently - brrrrrr.
Need to pop by the chemist at some point to pick up a prescription. I had bloods done last week and all good excepting my Vitamin D level which is really low so they're putting me on a three month course of extra strong ones. Must say I was quite surprised at that because if there is sunshine I'm out in it and I don't overuse sunblock etc so I really didn't think the level would be as low as it was

Besides that I need to sort out the chicken area a bit more - I've bought a new bale of wood shavings for them to keep them nice and warm, but I need to sweep up the old ones first. Oh and the usual work :D

I was meant to be going to the office today, but last night a colleague expressed his concerns about people travelling to get to work and us being in an enclosed space so the decision was made to going back to working from home if you can. Well I wasn't going to complain was I    Admittedly I am glad that masks are going to be compulsory on public transport effective tomorrow - why they ever scrapped that I don't know - but I have no worries about us being in the office; it's a large space with not many people so social distancing if needed is very easily achieved. But as said - as you all well know I'm very happy to stay home and work from here :D I will have to go in on Thursday so as we have a client meeting so that will be my one day in.

Have a lovely day everyone - stay warm!!!!!!

Morning all, it’s sunnier today but the roads and paths are still thick with ice.

Joe was supposed to be in college today but it’s closed so he’s doing his coursework here. Tom went into the school but they’ve since taken the decision to close so he’s just come home and is teaching from our kitchen. He’s so messy and never picks up after himself and I was just feeling smug (yet slightly annoyed) after spending two hours cleaning after the weekend (and picking up glasses and mugs left in random places - behind a plant pot being one - because he can’t be bothered to take them into the kitchen) when he walked through the door, kicked his shoes off on the kitchen floor, put his coat on the chair from which I’d just moved another one of his and dumped all of his stuff on the table I’d just cleaned.
Probably best I don’t mention to him that he’s not paid his board this month because I’m not in the mood to mention it nicely, and it’s an ongoing monthly argument we have because he doesn’t think he should be paying anything (probably because Shannon doesn’t have to pay anything to her parents).

So yeah, that’s my morning.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :D

It's bright and sunny here 8-)

Chilling and reading sounds my kind of day Ally.
Your walk sounds lovely Jan.
Kaz good luck to Harry for tomorrow.
My brain is often switched off Saundra
Sensible to stay safely in the warm Crommers.
Glad you enjoyed the concert Osc.
I agree Ria, I don't know why masks were scrapped on public transport either.
Jo I think you're absolutely right to expect housekeeping money from Joe, all ours contributed towards their keep once they were working.

Not a lot happening here, I finished all the cards so E will be popping the ones for Oz round to the post office this afternoon. Expecting a Tesco delivery between 1-2pm and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe and warm xx
