Agatha Christie anyone?

Postby miasmum » 28 Nov 2021, 23:09

My sister asked me if I had ever read any Agatha Christie books and I had to admit I hadn't.

She told me to read And Then There Were None, so I bought it and started it yesterday. Apart from 10 people are an awful lot to get to know, I am enjoying it.

Just wondered if anyone else had read any of hers?

LOL, I've probably watched every Poirot and Miss Marple at least twice on the telly, but no, can't say I've ever read any of the books!

I asked Mrs O. She says yes, she has read them; they were very hard, very clever and very dated.
I said when was that?
She said about 50 years ago!

Hmmm well, I found it quite scary when I thought we weren't going to know who the murderer was. Then it gets explained at the end and is so farcical I threw the book off the bed
