Hello all, good afternoon
well, busy morning; 8am PCR test due to being pinged yesterday....hopefully have the results by tomorrow but at least I don't have to isolate
Back home to ongoing IT issues that still haven't been resolved, then our annual compliance training. I really need to get into town at some point to chose new frames for reading glasses. I had chosen some but they snapped when they were fitting the lenses and they didn't have more of that frame so now I need to chose another one - sigh
Hopefully I'll get to go tomorrow.
Crommers, so sorry to hear about your school friend; and I totally agree - enjoy each day while you can. In the past week I heard of two people both quite young who have passed. One, the partner of someone I know via cat rescues - he was my age
and the other was someone I had a lot of dealings with for work, never met him in person though. His company sent me an email directly saying he had passed suddenly and very unexpectedly on Friday last week - an absolute shock for everyone. Again he wasn't much older than me
So yes, definitely take each day and embrace it; and treasure what you have whilst you can.
